I downloaded the Solis app that’s old, there is a new upgrade to the app, and the way SKYROAM support said what I had to do to up grade is so out of date, why doesn’t the developer just send the upgrade to Apple iTunes and they will automatically upgrade to the newest version, sorry I have iPhone/iPad/ and iMac and the upgrades are different THANKS

Pretty disappointed with my experience so far. I set up my hotspot at home to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues overseas. When I got to Philippines I kept having connectivity issues. Even though the light was steady, I had to keep logging into the app as well as manually connecting my phone to the hotspot. On top of it, I kept getting the wheel of death while it was searching. I ended up just buying a SIM card to get around.

On a recent trip to Maldives I attempted to use my skyroam and this APP with no success. After much stress, no WiFi and no resolve I spent my holiday disconnected. Upon my return I attempted to use the APP again and still nothing. I’ve checked for updates and there isn’t anything. When I open it just spins like it’s loading but never connects . It just spins and spins. I’m able to use the device through the website but the app is of no use

I’ve had a Solis Skyroam for about 6 months. I don’t have anything negative to say about the device itself - it takes a few minutes to connect but works pretty well from there. That said, I think the app is poorly developed. When trying to purchase more data, a user is met with error codes that carry no meaning. I’ve updated all of my payment info (which it NEVER prompted me to do outside of “Error Code: 123”). Even still, I can’t add more data. So now I will read a book instead of watching The Hateful Eight. Sorry, Tarantino.

Great app! Very well designed. It makes traveling so much easier on the go. I am always fully connected whether I am walking around town or in a business meeting!
