App Now Broken

App update and now I cannot pair my phone to my device. The app had me do the set up again and when I pair it i get an error.

Our theatre department bought several of these to pass out to our actors so they could have reliable internet for recording our shows in Zoom. For the most part, they’ve worked really well. One actor is having issues getting a video that doesn’t freeze or run behind the sound. It’s intermittent and we’ve been able to work around it. SkyRoam support has been really helpful and quick to reply. I have the hotspots linked to one account. This allows me to manage their data and keep them full of high speed. The app makes this super easy. Overall, very pleased with the full experience of the SkyRoam. It will make this year much easier.

Let me start off by saying how grateful I am that my school purchased this hotspot for me. I don’t have reliable WiFi or data in my area, so the school gave me some allocated funds to buy a hotspot. This one seemed like the best deal, and for $250 you’d think it would be. Well I ran out of monthly unlimited data (which the limit is another issue all together), and so I bought a day pass after canceling my unlimited subscription because I planned to upload some large files today. It worked great for the first 6 hours, but now they’re capping my data at .5 mbs even though I’m supposed to receive unlimited data for 24 hours. My crappy WiFi is better at that point! What’s annoying is that when I’m receiving the appropriate data, it’s great! Never been smoother. Just wish this bug would get worked out, especially considering I paid extra for a day pass.

Horrible Product - Nothing But Trouble!

Where do I start? Bought during the pandemic. Thought it might be a good insurance policy while we got stuck in the Philippines. Connection speeds were slow and unreliable. Would randomly charge my credit card, customer service was unhelpful. Moved over to Europe thinking things would be better, app wouldn’t recognize that I was in Europe and keep trying to charge me for Asia! Uninstalled the app, now app won’t work when I re-install it. Product is horrible! This thing has been nothing but trouble. Really felt as I had been cheated out of my hard earn money - A number of times I have requested a refund, but no one from customer service replies to the request our escalated my issue. Reinstalled the app while traveling in China, the app doesn’t work, doesn’t allow me to push buttons for setting up the device again on my iPad Pro The 3 led lights are static, but the big light just flashes and I continue you to receive an error message when I try to get online. Please guys figure it out and stop cheating people. It’s been close to 6- months and the things HAS NOT worked as advertised once. After reading others troubles you guys are starting to seem like crooks, ripping people off? Stay clear, you have been warned!

I liked the service, but twice they have put me into automatic monthly renewal without my authorization. After the first, they gave me a one month credit. I later redeemed that credit, and verified in my account that I was not on auto-renew. In fact, my account showed that I wasn’t subscribed at all, as I was using a credit. Then Solis charged me $99 for the additional month. Corrupt busyness practices — I’m finished with Solis!

This device is perfect absolutely perfect for the Nintendo switch high on the Nintendo switch and the light version where I need to have Internet so I can actually play the games due to the E shop verification check this little baby takes care of that issue this is an awesome device I highly recommend it for Nintendo switch users I personally only bought it for that, I haven’t tried streaming videos YouTube Netflix none of that I don’t think I’m going to try because that’s not what I got it for, But for what I got it for it is brilliant. Great start for the Skyroam Solis

Just found this app to compliment my Skyroam Solis mobile hotspot. It’s basically the same thing as logging into their website to get info about your device and buy new daypasses. Works well! Would love to see some advanced features added though, like the ability to change the name of your wireless hotspot network, and set settings for other SIM cards you might want to install in the sim slot under the batteries. Great start Skyroam, now keep it going and add more options!

I have used the Solis in Mexico and Germany and it’s been a total game changer. Being able to have WiFi all around the world has relieved tons of hassle in my Travels. Also great to have in Airports since most airport WiFi can be suprisingly unreliable. PH
