Reviews

Flakey at best
AC1993

This is absurd. I bought two smart switches which took several series of connect, reset connect again, reset to get to work consistently. I then bought two smart plug-in switches and have had the same issue. The problem is now that I can’t connect them to an existing scene and my old “scenes” are broken. There are different firmware and software version on the plug in switch back the in wall switches and judging from other reviews that may be an issue but there is no intuitive way to update the firmware. This is kind of a joke for a$35 switch when all I am looking for right now is timer functionality.

Return

Same issues as others. I told the electrician to disconnect and return it. Clearly not ready for prime time use.

Should have stuck with artik

I was expecting that all my lights and scene functions would migrate over when the whole system migrated. I still have to use the old app to control my lights because nothing is programmed into this app. There’s no directions on how to set it up not should I have to if everything “migrated” over.

Simply does not work
Aplawguy

Can’t even set this switch up bc the app doesn’t recognize the switches WiFi. Honestly this switch never worked well enough and I just used it as a manual switch since it is frustrating having to set it up multiple times to use the app. I’m taking this junk back to Lowe’s and going with another brand altogether.

Getting support is impossible

The app at least gets the job done to a certain extent. I had trouble adding my dimmer switch so I emailed customer support but haven’t gotten a email back.

App is not all that intuitive
NDLK98

The switch works, connected easily to the internet. It was difficult to figure out how to get a “scene” to work based on selecting the “switch” as on or off (all white means turn it on, empty means turn it off). It works, just not as straight forward as I would have thought.

Connection

This has been extremely painful.. the dimmer switch won’t stop flashing the amber color and I am unable to connect the switch..

Amazing

Everything works as expected after you set things up. Onboarding however, can be tricky.

Same crap
evman67

App won’t connect. Same as everyone else.

Terrible app

Glad we only purchased and installed one switch. App worked for two days and then wouldn’t connect anymore. A little real life testing would help improve this product/app. Until then, don’t waste your time or your money. We returned it.
