Come on guys

Right now I need to be on the local LAN to control any lights. Can you PLEASE update this software so it works remotely? Update: Ok, version 2.0 works remotely now. Good job guys!

Works remotely, and with Alexa / Amazon Echo
yisterbunny

The new remote access is nice, and can integrate with Alexa! Turn lights on / off by name, fancy! Early 2.0 bugs have been fixed. However, I still encounter a bug where I can't create new automatic scenes with relative time (e.g. to turn outside lights on at sunset). This is a nice feature and used to work but hangs the app now upon creation. One other feature request is to get Legrand Scenes to work by name from Alexa. This seems like it should work, hope it comes soon!

Thank you Legrand! Loving the voice control and the easy setup!

Working again!! Was working...now its not #2

I am having similar issues. This controller worked perfectly for a year and now it is not. My devices keep losing contact with the hub and I can no longer control my lights. What happened!?

Just doesn’t work at all
LoganCMD

I sign in to remote access repeatedly, which sends you back to the app—and nothing happens. Meanwhile, even within my network, it’s clear the switches are connected (the app updates immediately when they’ve been physically pressed) and yet it almost never does anything when you do it from the app, e.g. turn a light on or off, change the dimmer level etc. Why oh why does Legrand use a proprietary interface rather than Wink or something that might actually work and be convenient?! Anti-consumer nonsense.

Remote doesn't work so Alexa voice control doesn't work

When the app asks if you want to setup remote and you select yes it brings you to the Artik login page. Put in your username and password, hit sign in and a pop up shows asking if you want to open it in the lighting app. Select yes, it goes back to the app and... nothing! Try to get the Alexa app to discover the lighting hub... nothing! I've spent well over $2000 on switches and dimmers that are useless for voice control.

Terrible App
Hawkfan03

App only works when on my LAN. I created a Samsung ARTIK cloud account for lighting control remotely and this App fails every time. I can control my lights remotely if I use the Samsung ARTIK App instead of the Legrand app. Also no HomeKit support is a fail!

The LC7001 will never have HomeKit compatibility
Apple homekit

Just called tech support. Unfortunately my high end light fixture only works with Legrand controllers. The LC7001 specifically. I’m 100% Apple. They confirmed it will never have HomeKit compatibility as it doesn’t have the hardware inside to work so no upgrade is coming. Don’t know why you would choose this when I can get even get a single Hue bulb / hub to work. Why wouldn’t you at least build that in hardware into a Oct 2017 controller? Ugh. I hope at least the Alexa integration will work. :/

Rethink Buying these Switches Because You Can’t Use This App
Jerson Peredo

I really loved the idea of being able to automate my lights but the software (this app) is terrible. I can never log in and if I’m lucky (it seems random) it’ll be able to find my system and I can control the lights. I have been able to at least set it to timers and then just forget about using the app but every now and then the app seems the crap out and the lights don’t turn on/off when I set them to... then getting back on the app involves unplugging the controller and just hoping the app recognizes the system. It seems this problems have been more frequent with this cloud integration. Great idea but poorly executed. I love the switches but the system in total is not worth the hassle in my opinion.

Unstable app - and still a problem after the latest update
imeleni

First and foremost, the Product team should really assess their developers and see if they’re capable of performing their jobs. Customers are paying a lot of money for these switches and should be able to have a smooth running app that goes along with them. Revamp your team. Again, nothing has changed since my last review, which was months ago, and even with the latest update this week. It continually asks me to log in, access my lights remotely, and can’t set timers. Lighting automation shouldn't be this unstable especially when paying premium for light switches. The app is continually discovering my system which cannot find.
