Live sports streams not casting to Chromecast

The app is fairly good for the most part except that tonight when I tried to cast a Bundesliga game to my Chromecast it failed to connect repeatedly. Strangely, casting of generic prerecorded content worked just fine to my Chromecast. Are live sports events somehow prevented from casting now??

App will not connect to google Chromecast. Please fix this bug in next update. Kinda a waste of money if I can’t use the app

The app works great when you’re watching Sling from your phone, iPad, etc.. however, I mainly use it to stream onto my TV using chrome cast and it’s horrible, the connection either doesn’t happen or it does after 15 mins of watching TV.

I have to delete and re install this app almost everyday from my Apple TV in order to get it to start. If it weren't one of the very few apps that I can get my news source from I would have cancelled my subscription the first week I had it. Works better on my iPhone and iPad though. There it just cuts out frequently often times on the hour or between segments. So unreliable.

Watching on demand content is almost always a chore. The video content streams separately from the commercials often resulting in a buffer or complete break in the stream. Often I must force restart the app on my iPhone. For live watching it is good and pricing is reasonable. Sadly I am often busy and rely heavily on watching things from the on demand selection.
Ads are repetitive and annoying!

Hey devs why don’t you use the app to torture yourselves and watch the same ad repeat 10 or more times over and over for the course of the show? Same ads repeat over and over and skip feature are disabled when these ads play that are inserted by Sling on live, on demand and recorded tv. I don’t want your annoying ads anymore! I’m going to cancel service!! I’m fed up! Stick your ads up your rear!!!!

It’s good but it doesn’t cast to the television all the time. Sling needs to get the OWN channel.

So glad that I gave Sling a try! It's been close to a year since I left my old cable provider and I haven't regretted it for one moment. Sling rocks people! I've been telling my family and friend to take the leap. Sling is very reliable and has plan options starting at $20 bucks a month. I have it on my tv, tablet, and phone. Love watching my shows on the go. I also love the price! I have the $29.99 plan because It has all my shows included. AND there are NO hidden fees!!!! $29.99 is all I pay. I repeat...NO HIDDEN FEES. ?

The sling interface has been a nightmare on AppleTV! Finally a regular TV guide. No need to reinvent the wheel here.
