Live sports streams not casting to Chromecast – Sling: Live TV, Sports & News Review

The app is fairly good for the most part except that tonight when I tried to cast a Bundesliga game to my Chromecast it failed to connect repeatedly. Strangely, casting of generic prerecorded content worked just fine to my Chromecast. Are live sports events somehow prevented from casting now??
