Terrible for product registration

Thought I could use this to manage the various simplehuman products I own, but it’s really not made for that. It’s more of a way to order replacement bags and soap refills as far as I can tell. It doesn’t recognize that I already have some products registered, and doesn’t even include all simplehuman products to register if you’re starting from scratch. I own a lot of simplehuman products since I think they’re great, but account management leaves a lot to be desired. Even their website does a pretty poor job which is surprising and disappointing.

I downloaded this app to register my soap dispenser but the only option is for mirrors.

This is literally the only function of this app for me and it’s broken which makes the entire app worthless. And for the love of god, update the app for iOS 13 and the new iPhone screen sizes. (iPhone X, Xr, XS, XS Max, iPhone 11, and iPhone 11 Pro)
The worst app ever

All I wanted to do was order some trash can liners which fit. I downloaded the simplehuman app. The first thing it did was to try to sell me something on a page which had no escape. I finally minimized it. The next green screen showed a plus sign and a person outline. I clicked on the person and got a chance to create a login. Ok, now what? Somehow I got. BAck to the plus/person screen. I managed to enter my credit card info easily, big surprise. I somehow got to a screen in which the lowest number of trash can bags was 120, and it suggested I would want 120 every month. ??? I may use 4 a month, one a week. I ended up ordering 120 every 8 months although I will not run out in 8 months so I will cancel. But wait! Did it save my order? No way to tell, and only a back arrow. There is one menu item called “activity” and my order does not show up there. Where is my order? Did I save it? Did it disappear? Is it too much trouble to ask the user if they want to save this order? Or a “save” button. Or a back button which warns you you have not saved. Did preteens write this code? No standards, no consistent interface, no standards, nothing. Except getting your credit card info and forcing you to buy a huge number of can liners.

I was using the wrong app to link my phone and mirror together. Once I used the correct app it was very simple to link up. I am very happy with the mirror and what the app can do.
Works, not updated for newer devices.

App is nice overall. It’s simple, and works well, and is nicely streamlined. Apple Pay support is nice to have, too. Knocked a couple stars off because the app still hasn’t been updated to fit the screen of devices released a year ago (XS Max Plus), which really takes a lot away from the experience.

I received my Simple Human trash can as a gift. I love it soooo much! Great addition to my kitchen “gadgets!” No more messy lids or drips down the sides when I throw something messy away. My grandkids love it too! The built in liner dispenser is a huge plus!!!!
