Useless app, orders always cancelled

Every time I have tried to order from this app my item has been canceled several days later because the item is “out of stock” despite the app showing the item as in-stock and available to order for several days after I’ve ordered . And the items were available in-store only - so they actually do have the item at the parks (which I though was the whole point of this app), they just won’t honor ship-to-home orders. They don’t even have the courtesy to send you a cancellation email. Customer service on this issue is horrible. I will be deleting this app from my phone because it is useless and a complete waste of time.
I avoid using this app unless I have to.

I avoid using this app unless I actually have to. I would much rather go through the trouble of getting my MacBook out and going to the Shop Disney website. This app is very glitchy, every time I've tried to purchase anything using a Disney gift card the app freezes, and then a notifications pops up telling me my bag has been updated and it cannot continue the checkout. For those wondering, I'm using an iPhone 7 Plus.
Finally found the Avatar Banshee shoulder toy

I finally found a way to purchase two of these Avatar Banshee shoulder toys. Amazon had them at double this price and not on Prime. However, I wanted to ship these out of state to my grandchildren directly, and this app didn’t have the option to modify the shipping address or for gift wrapping!

As a Disney fan who doesn’t live close to the parks this app gives me access to merchandise I could not get otherwise. And the honor discounts which is a huge plus!!

Wish there was a way resort guest could have the ability to purchase “in-store only” items up to 30 days with proof of staying at the resort. There were a couple things I wanted to get but didn’t have any extra luggage space to get it home and thought I could just get it through the app.

Most of the items that are out of stock don’t appear that way until you are ready to check out.

Everything I try to add to my bag, it always says it can’t be added.... what’s the deal?? Also a lot can’t be bought online anyway ? only in the parks

I love the idea of this app, but when you’re on vacation sometimes there are reasons you can get something you wanted and in theory this app will allow you to get it at your convenience. Say for instance you just don’t have the extra money at the moment, or perhaps you flew into Orlando and don’t have the room for souvenirs. In comes this app. You can find just about everything they sell at Disney. Problem I run into is the fact that everything I’m interested in says in store purchase only. From different plush characters to pieces of art I would like to have. Everything I look at is in store purchase only. Pretty annoying that this is a shop parks app to allow you to shop from your phone, however, while shopping it just tells you to go to the store.
