Someone please tell me there is a way to override Scout in the 19 Lexus IS. I am thoroughly unimpressed with Scout. It’s unfortunate that I’m stuck with it for my Lexus. Routes are unreliable, constantly rerouting even while I’m on the road it displays, no map view for the vehicle display, app closes and disconnects often. This GPS doesn’t compare to others even by a little.

This app leaves a lot to desire does not work free Handley I’ve had to stop 5 times and 60 miles to reset the app I would not recommend this app for anybody furthermore if you want a navigation in your car buy it pre-installed standalone this thing is a piece of crud and leaves me very frustrated and don’t need it especially when I’m trying to enjoy my day I hate to say it Google works better and I dislike them also but at least their product actually works

Slow, crashes, never stays on, horrible at re-routing, doesn’t know many locations that google maps knows... I always end up frustrated and just using apple maps or google maps. Literally any gps service is better than this app. Fix it.

Why can’t you add a feature on on screen map option without turning on navigation. Sometimes helps to know your surroundings, especially in a new place.

Hassle to open in on my car interface, annoying you can enter address from your phone, maps inaccurate every single time I use it, doesn’t show lane info or overview of the streets your on, just has arrows on the screen and that’s it. Really disappointed in Toyota for making this the only way to use navigation on the new cars

The use of the scout gps system in my Toyota work truck ultimately led me to avoid purchasing a Toyota for my personal use vehicle and only purchase one with an independent gps system, scout is the worst gps avail, it is constantly re-routing for no reason, the display is inconvenient, it consistently tells you that you have arrived as far as 3 blocks from your destination, it has to be reprogrammed or routed every time you stop somewhere, seriously the worst gps in existence and that is not hyperbole, it is factual, I’ve now purchased a TomTom to compensate.

Let’s just say that this app could be much better. It is “usable”. We are hesitant to trust it due to excessive re-routing.

The GPS works basic, but in 2019 it can have a turn by turn navigation. Also, I don’t know if it can be switched on, but I do not have a map shown on my screen. Only arrows. No problem but it would be convenient. Overall, the system is good.
