Getting used to in car navigation

I’m getting more familiar with and getting used to this type of navigation system. Traffic avoidance is a feature that I haven’t been able to figure out.

I keep trying but, GPS is not accurate at all. My GPS seems to be around 350ft off. Also does not have updates for example fly overs not recognized. Will use it on routes that I am familiar with and GPS keeps rerouting me. Will not recognizing my home address telling me I live across the street.

The scout app on phone has great difficulty reconnecting to car, asking for numerous confirmations prior to connect-poorly written app

The app takes a little time to get used to, but it's manageable. My complaints are (1) the granularity is poor; on a known turn that's right in front of me, the app will tell me I still have 0.2 miles to go. (2) the map is flat wrong, at least in my rural area. It would be nice to see a map on my Tundra's display but, for now, I'm sticking with Google Maps or even Apple Maps.

I’ve had this app for 2 years now on my 2017 Tundra. It’s so useless and has so many issues it’s better to have no gps at all than to try and use it half the time. It struggles to connect to the truck and when it does it randomly disconnect shortly after forcing you to reset the app and most of the time won’t reconnect unless you shut of the ignition. It does not show any form of a descent map, just an overlay of the entire ride which is impossible to make out where and which road you’re actually supposed to turn onto. I love my Tundra but every time I get into my fiancé’s car with Apple CarPlay I regret purchasing it a bit
wont tether no live map

Hello. I have a rav4 2019. I had an Iphone6 plus. I connect my phone to the car with usb.Live map Navigation worked. Then I got my Iphone 11. Now live navigation wont work. It doesnt tether. I got the car in April. I used the live map mode today and it worked for about 5 minutes. The usb sign came on on my phone. Then it went off live nav mode. I noticed that the usb sign on my phone was gone. Only the Bluetooth sign was still on my phone. Im looking for answers. Is my car faulty, are the apps faulty, is it my phone? Can someone please help?
