Update comes with connection issues

John0627

Everything was fine until the update and now my Samsung Watch will not connect to my iPhone XR. Please fix it soon!

IconX

Lorenzo_dev

There is no support for iconX stuff. This is a major defect in the ecosystem as that product really stand out of the competition. Neglecting iPhone support is not a good commercial move as I will be forced to switch to something apple-compatible even if the quality is better on the samsung side.

Does not sync with Gear S3

Fullright

The updated app no longer will sync to my Gear S3. As responded on other reviews, I sent this in through the app report a problem with system log. But still no comment from them. This is getting increasingly frustrating.

Updated killed my connections

Justinlambmusic

Ever since the 1.9 update I am not getting any notifications on my watch. iPhone 10 here. Please fix ASAP.

Taking a long time to set up

Ethan Mcguire

It is taking a very long time to set up the watch on my iPhone 6s. I tried almost everything I can do to make it work but never worked. Please fix this

The Samsung Galaxy Watch is Great! I’ve been all over town and not once has it given me any guff or said anything mean to me. I still feel like it may get me in trouble seeing as they’re expensive and someone may want to jack me for it. All in all A+

Nice, clean, intuitive... but...

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and bought an Amazon Certified Refurbed Samsung Galaxy watch about 8 weeks ago. I had problems linking it with my phone. I contacted Support, where I was ultimately told the watch was defective and that I would need to be return it to the factory. I sent it back to the Amazon seller and when I received my refund I bought another Samsung Galaxy Watch—brand new this time. Same problem with that one. Took it back to the store and exchanged it for yet another one. On my third Samsung Galaxy Watch now, I finally figured out—on my own—how to get it to pair with my iPhone. Took me several hours! I now believe the first two Samsung watches I had bought were just fine. Samsung Support Agents need to be better trained on this issue and perhaps there should really be a Pairing Wizard added to the app. There are a lot of “if-then” steps when pairing with an iPhone that need to be clearly explained. So, I would very much urge Samsung to develop a PAIRING WIZARD—at least for iPhones.

Not working

Paperweightwatch

Worked for 1 day, now it doesn’t. My S3 frontier is connected to my phone according to phone settings and Bluetooth is always on and working. Linked my Samsung account to the app and the app still won’t discover my phone all of a sudden.

Worked but after..

Mommashev

This worked great upon first setting up my new Samsung active watch. But after updating the watches software I now get the message “Galaxy store is not responding. Please try again later”. I’ve cleared the cache and reset and re connected the watch to my phone. I’ve even up installed and reinstalled the app on my iPhone 8 Plus. I love the watch but this makes managing and customizing it very difficult.
