Doesn’t work

I really loved the concept of the app and wanted it to work so badly but it just didn’t. I did everything that was recommended in the other reviews (notifications all on, do not disturb turned off, leaving it open, etc) and I have a new and updated phone so it should’ve worked. I’m sad it didn’t work out and I hope they can fix it soon because I think it’s a great idea!

It’s a great concept but the sound doesn’t not go off when your phone is locked. Your phone has to be unlocked for the sound to go off....

I love your concept, and once the alarm is actually going off, it works great. BUT, the alarm DOESN’T go off unless I see and click on the notification that pops up. Do I have to go to sleep with the app as the last thing I’ve used, not just left open in the background? Also, my phone wasn’t on silent, but the notification made no noise. If I hadn’t been vaguely awake from my regular alarm, looking for the Rocket Alarm to go off, it would have done nothing at all. You’ve got to lock that mess down. Please! Also, I sent that whole message in an email via the in-app “contact us” feature, and I bounced back. The last updates to the app seem to be 2 yrs old, so I guess I just wasted 4 bucks for the extra features on this. It’s useless if it won’t start. I’ll try making it the last app open before I go to sleep to see if I can still make some use of it.

This app works amazingly. All the problems you guys say you have are non existent. The whole app doesn’t go off when my phone locks untrue I set a time to go off a minute later and locked my phone, it still went off. And also a plus I had to unlock my phone then play the game to turn it off that’s a added bonus. As far as wanting your phone on silent and the alarm to still go off, how much can you except. Don’t complain. Don’t listen to the one stars this app is amazing definitely not worth a one star. If anything that would bring it down to a four star.

I love this app. It’s cute and the games and sounds are so fun. But it doesn’t work when my phone is off. What do you want me to do, keep this app open all night? Edit: Oh, I just came up with a way to do it: set an alarm in the clock app for the same time so that it will wake you up, turn it off, open up the notification from Rocket Alarm, then it’s like a second alarm. And let’s be honest; who doesn’t set more than one alarm? 4 stars.

This app is great! But only one issue. The alarm can’t go off if the silent switch is on, or do not disturb is on. Please fix if at all possible!

So, I am glad that I did not rely just on this alarm to wake me in the morning. I set the regular alarm as well. I am a teacher and Camp Director and running on overtime right now for both. I do turn on the Do Not Disturb on my phone because I have people sending me messages and questions at all hours of the night. My other alarm went off at regular time and my 2nd alarm went off, this however, did not go off until I unlocked my phone and opened the app. Also, the program had reverted back to default settings and was no longer set to the features I had chosen after downloading. Great idea, but not helpful if it won’t work in DND.

I downloaded the app today and i absolutely love the concept and think it could work wonders - but as soon as my phone locks it only gives me a cute single notification sound that I sometimes don't even hear when I am awake, and only when I click it to open the app will the actual alarm go off?? Isn’t it supposed to wake you up when your phone is locked with the actual alarm tone as you will most certainly not wake up to a mere notification tone , then open app (when you are already awake i might add) and thennn get annoyed by the unnecessary alarm as you are already awake?? If anyone could give me some clarity on if I am using it wrong or something I would appreciate it.

The idea and preface of it is AMAZING! The thought of having to be conscious enough to do mini games is a great idea, but it’s a shame it doesn’t work. I downloaded this because I slept through my alarm all the time and thought it would be an amazing idea, but low and behold, the main selling point of the app (the alarm) didn’t even go off until I unlocked my phone 2 hours after I set the alarm. Deleting for now, but if it gets better in the future I might just keep it
