Disappointed in this app

Was really looking forward to this app, but it doesn’t have sound with the notification while my phone is locked. Once you open the app the sound starts. That’s not going to wake me up.

I downloaded this app (and even purchased one of the games) because it was featured by the App Store editors. This app has enormous potential but sadly the execution falls very short. I am disappointed in the app and now the App Store editors. Like many other reviewers I only seem to get a banner notification which really defeats the purpose of the app. I even turned off my do not disturb and left the app open, but still nothing. And even though my DND was set to turn off before the alarm time, I still tried turning it off completely and still had no results. However, if the alarm is that complicated to set then the app is essentially useless. The DND thing is ridiculous. Many, many users turn on DND in the overnight hours. It really should be easy to set the alarm and ensure it goes off properly and not just as a banner notification. The app even allows for a daily alarm - if I can’t just set it and forget it then what is the point? I hope the developers are reading these reviews and work to fix the issues. I typically don’t bother to leave bad reviews but this app has so much potential and I would love to see it improved.

Slight Problem

Rocket alarm is a great app. I haven't had a chance to use it but I will once school starts. It's has many great features and a great concept but my problem with it is I can only do alarms. When I try to do reminders I have to enter my mobile phone number and I do that but it loads and then nothing is sent to my phone number. I don't know if it's a glitch or it's my phone but that is the only feature I had a problem with.

Made me late twice so I deleted it.

The app never worked. It wouldn’t alarm until after I work up and opened my phone. Great idea. Terrible execution.

I’m one of those people that need an alarm clock 1 hour before I need to wake up every five minutes. Still have been late to work many times from it. Since I’ve found this app, I have deleted it at least 4 times and re-downloaded it. The reason is because it’s so annoying, loud and doesn’t stop until you complete the objective. Star lancer is the one I choose because it’s the hardest one in the morning. Great app if you’re someone like me! Worth a try!

Lots of Potential

This is such a great app but it seems like it needs more recent updates. Lately if I sleep through the notification sound, once I open the app the alarm will go off without taking me to the challenge. Sometimes the alarm will continue to go off even if I delete it. When it works correctly, this is a great app with really good graphics, but lately it hasn’t been working for me. I hope there are some updates in the future because I’d really like to continue using this alarm.

I absolutely love the concept of this app, but it doesn’t work! I get the notification on my phone saying that I have to wake up, so I tap on it and then it starts doing the alarm and stuff. I was nearly late to school because of this app! maybe I’m doing something wrong, but as far as I know, this app is broken.

for some reason, the apps volume will not go higher than about half. this causes it to be quite silent as an alarm which does nothing to wake me up. please fix this, i want to use this app so bad.
