Cannot believe this was “featured” in a story on the App Store. You guys should really do some basic due diligence on the apps you recommend. Unfortunately this alarm clock is completely useless. Once the phone locks itself (even with the app open), it will only send a push notification when the set alarm time is reached. That comes with a standard vibration or notification tone, but not the alarm signal you have set in the app. Definitely not enough to wake me up. Good concept, but until this is fixed, the app is useless. As to prove the point, the developer website and support links lead nowhere.

Try setting scheduled do not disturb and disabling it just before the alarm goes off.

I think this app is great, but the thing I do not like about it is that 1) you need to have do not disturb off and 2) you have to open the actual app. It is difficult when you wake up in the middle of the night because you get a random notification on your phone from an app because do not disturb is off, that is why most people want it on. Most people are saying that the app only gives you a small notification, that is why they are not waking up. Personally, I have an IPhone 7 and for it to work properly you need to go into your settings and turn on all the notifications and press persistent banners instead of temporary. If this does not work, then try some other setting in your phone. Try and set a temporary alarm on the app to see if it worked. Again, ALL of the notifications need to be on, do not disturb off, ringer on, sound on, and then you will be good. It really is great when it works because I am the literal worst at waking up but this helped me wake up just a little bit more.

This app is so cute and it’s exactly what I want and need to get me up in the morning. However, it doesn’t work! Even though I have push notifications on, it doesn’t send anything. My phone isn’t off or even on so not disturb, so it shouldn’t be doing this. I like this app and I really wanted to be able to use it, so this is just disappointing and inconvenient. Please, please fix. I would be so likely to recommend to people and I will use it often if the bugs get fixed.

I downloaded this app because when I’ve found that when I wake up to my regular alarm I tend to hit snooze and fall back asleep immediately and then wake up hours later with no recollection of what happened. I hoped that requiring interaction to turn off the alarm would be effective in getting me out of bed and to class. I tried it over the weekend when I took a short nap and I have no idea what happened. I never set my phone on Do Not Disturb so according to other reviews there should have been no problem. But my alarm went off two hours after the time I had set it for and after I completed the initial task, it continued to ring loudly while asking me to complete the task again and again. Since the app is literally designed so that you cannot hit snooze, and I had never used it before so I was unfamiliar anyway, I know that the delay in the alarm was not my doing, partially also because I have never hit snooze for over two hours. After completing the task at least three times, the alarm still would not go off for more than five seconds so I completely shut down the app hoping that would end it. Somehow, it kept going despite the fact that I had shut the app off, even though it should have been restarted and turned the alarm off. I had to delete the app in its entirety to finally get it to stop. It was effective in waking me up, but only because it would not turn off the way it supposedly has been designed to. Never again.

I really love everything about this app, except... It doesn't work. I left the app open, set everything up, went to bed, and nothing. There are some apps out there that stay open the whole night, maybe that could be a fix? But until its fixed, I'll have to try somewhere else :(

It’s pretty. But unfortunately it doesn’t work. Set an alarm and expect it to go off right? This one doesn’t. Also the games are so extremely simple that I don’t think they accomplish what they are meant to do.

I love the idea behind this alarm as I am a repeat offender of the snooze button. The problem is that as soon as the phone locks for inactivity it doesn’t go off. Beware, do not use as your one and only alarm clock, save your time and get a different app.
