Not designed for iPhone X :(

Anybody care to update the UI for iPhone X? Just a thought since the device launched a couple months ago and I’m sure you had the Dev kit for it prior to that. Also noticing more instances when trying to answer a call that video never turns on, this happens while both my mobile and ring device have good WiFi signal with great bandwidth. Was not previously happening as often as it is with new app updates What’s going on there?

Misleading

I originally reviewed this device and app favorably but I was under the impression I could use basic features without a monthly plan. It uses my WiFi and cellular data that I already pay for it could use an SD card just like wild game cameras and work fine. There are plenty of devices that could serve a similar function without a regular fee. The company claims the monthly cost Is for cloud storage. This device and app is useless without a paid subscription plan. I will most likely get rid of the device.

Good, could be great with HomeKit.

I love the hardware, and most of the app experience is thoughtful. But I’m deducting one star because HomeKit is still not supported, despite pledges that it’s coming.

IPhone x support

Please? Can we get ear to ear design for iPhone x? App looks too outdated.

Half the time it doesn’t work.

If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see someone coming to your door. The camera is great at capturing all the cars driving by... but fails to capture people walking to the door??? Often times it leaves a black screened playback. I’m using the ring 2 with a good WiFi connection. I’d suggest finding a different door bell.

Good iPhone X interface, but where’s the HomeKit support?

This version contains much-needed optimizations for the iPhone X display. Thanks! The app is decent enough, and I am looking forward to the big updates which were announced at CES 2018. Unfortunately, the Doorbell Pro and Floodlight Cam still lack HomeKit support, which prevents me from investing further in Ring products.

Good again

Finally got the iPhone X design thank you lord!!!

Glitchy

The last update causing my Ring app to keep notified me that there’s motion in my front door ALL THE TIMES. Even when no one or anything moves

Fix your app. Update for iPhone X. I’m getting so sick of your garbage app and cameras. I’ve had the first gen and now have the second and this one is skipping just like the first. Completely unreliable. So much for seeing someone’s face when there’s 10 seconds missing between frames. Internet speed speed is 150/150 download upload. Router is right by front door with with no loss of signal confirming it’s not my router. Sometimes screen just goes black. Makes me want to smash your stupid doorbell with another one of your stupid doorbells. Update : it works now. With updates it does not skip anymore. 5 stars when you update for iPhone X compatibility.

iPhone X support in master snooze toggle

Whatthewhatisthat

I would’ve thought by now a company like ring would have support for the iPhone X. Hopefully that comes soon. I like the ability to snooze notifications now but it would be a lot better if there was also a master snooze toggle. I have a lot of ring devices we are going to be out and about the yard it’s kind of a pain to go into each camera and snooze it. Other than that this app works really well and I love all the ring products.
