RTR has beautiful, trendy options. Renting and returning pieces, especially pieces that are a one time fling is great. However, the customer service is severely lacking. Long hold times that often result in being disconnected. Additionally, I expected pieces, planned on wearing them to special events and they never showed up. This happened numerous times. If you join make sure you have back up options you own.

I will say that it is so easy to work with RTR. Anything that didn’t work was so easy to return/exchange. My body type..12 tall or 14 with Ann Taylor, didn’t work with any of the dresses but one. I have broad muscular shoulders and big chest. Couldn’t zip most things up. If i had more of an easy to fit figure, this service would be awesome.

Great when it works- total pain when there are any issues

When everything works, RTR unlimited is great. Unfortunately I had so many issues during my four month subscription, with slow and poor customer service resolutions, that I cancelled. Packages were lost twice. They were late once and I had to drive to a Fedex facility myself to get them. Any time I needed to contact customer service, it took over an hour each time on the phone to resolve, or multiple days over email, all while using my subscription time while waiting for a resolution. Eventually when I tried to cancel, it took several days and many emails to due so, and they didn’t even refund the remaining part of my paid subscription citing “we don’t prorate subscriptions.” All of this was compounded by the fact that I used this while pregnant to avoid purchasing tons of maternity clothes, but it turned out to be one more thing to deal with during an already busy time. Many of the nicer items were never available, so I ended up paying a premium price to rent items I could have rented or purchased affordably elsewhere. Overall, fun to try, but at this price, not worth the hassle or extreme effort to resolve frequent issues. I wanted to share my honest experience in hopes it’s helpful to other customers considering the pros and cons of a subscription with this app.


Turn around time is too long

Been an unlimited customer for 3 months now. I like the concept so still planning to continue for a while but if they dozens fix the turn around time I might have to cancel since it’s just not worth it. So sent two items back last Wednesday, the spot to choose another item didn’t open up until the following Monday, it’s the next day and the items are still now shipped yet, it’s frustrating to wait two whole weeks without receiving the clothes , especially when you paid a good chunk of bucks for it.
