Having to sign out and in to repair broken notifications is awful. Constant crashes are ridiculous. After uninstalling, rebooting, logging out and in numerous times I can't get this app to work reliably. Not the right way to appeal to a developer crowd.

This service and app rocks. The API is just plain amazing. If I could have one wish it would be to have a the ability to use a custom alert sound, but who knows how they could pull that off. This app and service changed the way I think about alerts from scripts and has inspired in me many new ideas. Thanks!

I downloaded this and went back to try it and it says I must purchase. Don't be fooled by free app- it's a pay app

This app no longer works. I receive frequent automated emails telling me to log out and back in. This still doesn't fix the problem. Instill don't get notifications. I've contacted the developer and never received a response. This app is a disappointing waste of money. I now use prowl instead. Prowl replaced pushover very well and very easily.

I tried this out and bought since Boxcar was discontinued (and had been unreliable for some time before that). The UI is a bit sparse, but I'm not taking away anything for that. The few improvements I would need to give it the last star are: 1. Swipe to delete (an archive option would also be nice to see prior notifications). Right now you have to go into each notification and select the trash icon. 2. 3D Touch for peek-and-pop from main screen into details and from app icon to main screen. 3. A Today widget. It would be nice to have full-end-to-end encryption. Also, there's a desktop/browser app available which I haven't tried yet.

I use it to get notifications from my web server (PHP) when I get a new user. And I have my home automation system send me a Pushover notification when my garage door is opened.

Great app for receiving notifications about things. I use it for Octoprint on my Raspberry PI and when something happens I get a notification within 5 seconds.

I have been using this app for almost a year for sending several alerts during a day sometimes 100+, and it works really well. I use it for sending automated alerts from applications that I run so I can do some real time monitoring

I love the documentation examples for many languages. I do wish the app let you bulk-select items to delete.
