The UI is constantly having issues. Try hitting the status bar to scroll up and it gets all wonky. The service itself works but the UI is crap.

I've tried many of these types of apps over several years and this one has always been the most reliable and well supported. It is always kept up to date with iOS changes and it is frequently enhanced as well. Most important of all it is always reliable, I know I will receive my notifications every time. I consider this app to be the best in its class.

There is a serious display issue where the notification cells end up blank. This happens in the latest update. The developer never tests this app. There is always some obvious thing wrong with it that would've been apparent if the developer actually tested it. Weak.

Always get my notifications. I don't have much going on with this app but I haven't had to fiddle with it since setting it up so it is quite reliable.

Seriously, I don't know what I did before I found Pushover. Instead of sending everything to email, or writing my own apps just to get notifications, I can easily integrate all my services with Pushover and get streamlined notifications all from one place. Plus, did I mention the price? Five dollars. Forever.

Whenever the number of notifications exceed the limit of what can be displayed on the screen, the list becomes visually corrupted and it becomes completely broken. The only way to fix it is to kill the app and launch it again. The developer does no QA and just ships code without testing.

The most affordable push-notifications app on the market for small developers and "every day" users.

Used it for years with various PC apps... Even did a bit of PHP coding to the API and found it super easy to implement. And I get notifications in seconds ?

I use pushover as a dashboard for my Home automation system notifications. I have folders for alarm system operations, alarm system alerts, sprinkler system activity, HVAC activity and cloud back up logs. As a traveler, it keeps me informed!
