If you use Octoprint and want a notice sent to your phone when your print is complete this is what you need. Easily integrates with Octoprint and an iPhone. Love it!

After a long wait, I’m so so so happy we now have emergency notifications with Pushover. There are so many things you can do with Pushover, but until now you couldn’t override your device’s “mute” switch so an alarm would sound even with the ringer off. Now you can! This will be a game changer for crisis monitoring (for example, those of us who do mission-critical IT work, or work in medical fields, where getting an urgent notification is absolutely essential).

The only problem I have is that you can set notification setting for you different pushovers. I use mine to get notifications when my fire department gets toned out to calls but I also have if for my mutual aid companies and when I put it on high priority if does it for all my pushovers and not just the one I want to select.

I use this with IFTTT etc. Very versatile and works great. Now my wife can get notifications from Smart Door Locks etc. Love it or I wouldn’t have paid $5. ?

This app now serves a really good use case for me - emergency push notifications thag can be sent via an API that overrides my device’s DND and volume settings - what a feature!

Looking for an alternative to Pushbullet. This is almost perfect. Just wish you could push stuff from your phone to a browser. You can’t unfortunately.

Push Notifications No Longer Work

I upgraded my iPhone and the push notifications no longer work for Pushover. I forward emails from my work email to get notified of certain alerts and they are being received by the app but there is no notification, no sound, nothing. I have double and triple checked all notification settings and checked all over the internet and I can’t find and answer. This used to work so well for me.

It works. Pushes messages to phone almost instantaneously, and reliably so. The only change I’d suggest, for better organization of message, would be to allow segregation of messages to different folders...ideally automatically, based on message header/title.
