No watch notifications

Johnkvortek

New version won't notify on Apple Watch. All other prior versions did. Even have the watch app installed. Verified all notification options set on. Bug?

Dead simple business model. Generous trial. No frills. no asinine subscription required. You just buy it and it works. They could have easily tried making this a subscription and I'm so thankful they didn't and I found this because it's well worth writing an actual review about.

Flexible and reliable

I've been using Pushover for over a year and have found it to be a flexible and reliable alert delivery app for iPhones.

Easy and Excellent

I needed to monitor when a server was going offline one night at uncontrolled time. I created a simple script to poll the server and send me a pushover to wake me up. The entire process from signing up to finishing the script took 10 minutes and worked flawlessly.

Awesome app, reliable service, outstanding developer

I have been using Pushover for more than a year to receive critical alerts for work. I go on call once every three weeks and this app has never let me down. The feature that I like the most from the paid service is that I can create an application with its own email address and set up my alerts to go to that email address. Any of my devices running pushover can then receive that alert. The service itself is far more configurable than that but for the sake of brevity I will keep it short. Also one of my other favorite things is the API. We are going to be doing some very interesting things with alerts that require acknowledgment. My biggest request is that Superblock LLC would add a third type of alert (level 3?) that has an approve/deny response instead of a simple repeat alert until acknowledged. I would like to be able to push approve/deny workflow items to my phone and be able to capture those responses on the backend or with a postback like I can with level 2. It would also be great if the repeat frequency of the level 2 and 3 alerts could be configured.

Great replacement for Boxcar

Works great. However, I wish I could create Folders or have my email aliases show as separate folders in the messages area instead of all showing up in Email Gateway folder.

reliable and dead simple

I have used pushover for several different functions over the course of my time with it and it has always worked as advertised. A no thrills notification app that can connect to just about anything you throw at it.

Super useful

Great way to get your own custom push notifications.
