Awesome app for keeping up with what’s going on in my city with regards to the Orange County Fire Authority.

I love being aware of traffic issues and hazards that make travel a mess. I can avoid these things. I like knowing what’s happening in my community.

This app is great! As a bus driver it is very handy to be able to know what’s going on in an area I will be driving.

I rely on PulsePoint every day. It has gotten better over this last year and I would say it is completely accurate about 97% of the time.

It’s a great app to let you know what’s going on around you. My only suggestion would be to allow you to limit the distance you get alerts from your location. Sacramento fire covers an huge area and it would be nice to limit my alert feeds to just a few miles away from my location. I also work in an area that is the corner of 3 different agencies but can only choose one to follow. Again it would be nice to have feeds from all agencies but limit my feeds to just a few miles around my current area

What’s the point of this app when it’s so delayed? Emergencies don’t register for more than 15 after they occur. Worthless.

Pulse Point allows willing people be alerted and possibly do CPR until EMTs arrive. That's very cool, though I haven't taken on alerts yet. I got it during the hot, dry, western summer so every time I saw a new plume of smoke I could determine whether friends might need help evacuating- or a place to stay. Thanks PulsePoint for this great tool!

Although I have not received a notification for a CPR call, I do receive notifications of structure fires and get them at least 30 seconds earlier than via the dispatch center’s CAD system.
