Excellent app and purpose, but very inconsistent with alerts

msdosnt

I want to say alerts work most of the time, but they don't. It has its days where most alerts happen, but usually it's about 40-75% of alerts happen. I know this because you can open it, look and compare that to the alerts your device has for it. I have it on my iPhone and iPad and they both have exactly the same problem and 100% of the same alerts and missed alerts, so it's the app. Some suggested improvements: Fix the alerts problem, it's a serious core issue for its purpose! Support for landscape view on iPad! iPhone not a big deal but on iPad it's very frustrating to always have to flip it around. Increase the real estate for an incident alert showing unit/incident status info. Memorizing the color legend is hard because a few are not that distinct! Going to the legend when you need it is many clicks away. If real estate is an issue, put a clickable link to the legend on the incident info that pops up to the side so you can reference it. The active/recent alert listview on the home page for an agency: let users decide whether to list all their agencies or singular, or choose which ones. Hard to get the single pain of glass view by switching agency by agency. Busy agencies/areas would be too much, but let the user decide what's best for them. If an alert does not have address/map information it's pretty much useless unless maybe you have 1 or 2 units in your entire agency. Let users choose the sound for alerts

Cool App!

I am enjoying this app especially seeing which engine or squad is doing. If it allows me to help someone in the future then it is all worth the download.

Nice to have the alert. It's ahead of the dispatch, so I flip over to scanner app to hear the details.

Awesome

HairNation in Delaware

Instantly alerts you when something is happening in your area.

Help is on the Way

Great app for finding detailed information on emergencies taking place in my local community. Really helps me as an emergency first responder to maintain awareness of new and evolving incidents.

Great app for ems

First place I check

DocPep

When fire season hits LA, this app is the first place I check.

Works sometimes

Thigh disheveled

Works great, when it works. Sometimes I’ll get a notification for a structure fire, I’ll click on it and open the app, and the call is not in the drop down menu. Also sometimes there are calls for fires in the app, that I don’t get notified for. Other than that, not a bad app

Great app - and a suggestion

Gabriel McGowan

This app is terrific! It works very well, and as a CPR certified citizen, I really appreciate the opportunity to help when emergency resuscitation is needed. Just one suggestion: I would love to be able to customize the alerts that I receive by agency. There are some agencies that I want to see all alerts from, and then there are other agencies that I just want to see certain types of alerts, like structure fires. Wish I could customize that.

Notifications

Majorip4

I get no notifications for structure fires for Montgomery County PA. I have all the settings checked but they don’t even show on the list of events. Help
