I have both their email and their vpn and both are really great. Laying VPN customers get a ridiculously long list of VPN sites both within their country and in others. Pretty fast, never really any issues. Highly recommend.

Proton is part of the reclamation of humanity. The mail app is not ad or spyware supported and they do not sell data. Below is my review for the mail (it stands just the same, for their VPN): We are all worth more than the ‘free’ services we get from all the giants. These platforms aren’t free, they make a killing selling your data and then still have the gal to manipulate the platform and force ads down your throat. Wake up and stop supporting your own enslavement. Yes, this app is free, but they don’t sell you out. Support them if you can. If you can’t, it’s all good, you’re still supporting freedom. You are important, humanity.

میخواستم بگم که این وی پی ان همه چیس خوبه فقط یه بدی که داره اینه که وقتی روشن که میخاد بشه وایفای گوشی رو قطع و وصل میکنه اختلال میندازه توی شبکه وایفای گوشیهای ایفون

Does NOT work with Hulu!!!

They tell you to buy a subscription to be able to watch Hulu while traveling overseas, which however is wrong and a scam. It works one out of ten times, and you give up after a while. Thought you should know! Also, they do not reply to emails!
Great VPN service and app

Very easy to use VPN app. The organization behind it is great. My only complaint is the app isn’t a target for iOS automation, so I can’t automatically connect to VPN when I connect to WiFi networks.
Violating Federal CAN-SPAM Act

ProtonMail is Knowingly violating the Federal CAN-SPAM Act. What other Laws is this VPN breaking?! (And what are they doing with your data?!) I will not risk my privacy to find out. ProtonMail: Read and Understand the law in states/countries where you do business.
New Jersey Servers Always Down

Worked good for a few months, then the New Jersey servers are always down now. They keep saying “under maintenance” for the last week or so now. If this gets fixed, I’ll update my review 5 stars
