Finally, a VPN that’s truly free with no gimmicks

I’ve been searching for a decently reliable and unlimited vpn, and this is it. I still get insane speeds and an ok ping, so far everythings amazing. It works at my school too. I might honestly consider purchasing the paid plan in the future if i need it

Not offering ad/tracker blocking? Edit 10/25: I bumped it up to 4 stars from 3, because the developer responded to me to let me know they do plan to add adblocking. Once that’s added, this will be a 5 star app. Please block TRACKERS while you’re at it!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course it’s the best vpn I ever tried. When all of my vpns don’t work because of some local network problems IT WORKS. My problem is that it requires an ID to work and my parents even don’t have email to create account and i use mine for them. I’m really waiting for MAC version

The app works astoundingly. I love the free U. S. Servers. The most important thing is the developers reply to user’s reviews. I would recommend this for any U. S. citizens because it’s free!!!! Even if you don’t really need it, like me.

Experienced a bug after the iOS 13 update, but since has been fixed. Developer response was fast and reflected their care for customers. Protonmail and Proton VPN are each the best offerings on the market - I’ve paid for multi year usage and will never look back. (Protonmail continues to exceed expectations!!) It’s been a fun experience watching a company develop a ground breaking product while adhering to their vision - and managing customer expectations. Looking forward to the ongoing features’ rollout.

Drops connection 100 times a day......

I paid for the plan. I take a VPN seriously, that’s why I PAID for the Proton. It drops ALL the time. Absolutely horrible. This has happened of and on for the last year, but now it’s consistent for over a week. Why pay to have your IP exposed all day. Horrible. Proton should not have put an app on the IOS system, charge for it and not have it work.

Not What It Truly Says
Unfortunately, my IPhone has not had a constant VPN connection since the start of the Proton 7 day trial.... Please note, the main security option indicates you can allow constant VPN Connection by selecting “Always On - VPN”... Not true People! ... I’m always hitting Connect ... Errrr!!! I did contact support to resolve the issue, they emailed me back ... I answered their questions, and per support, uninstalled and reinstalled the VPN. Now, 3 weeks later, still no constant connection. The other issue was, whenever I clicked on the “G” for Google, the phone would get stuck in a loading mode, and eventually just show a plain white screen ... not sure what that is about, but support was contacted on that issue as well, yet it still happens today. Anywhoo!!! I’m searching for a new VPN and want something really secure for my phone. Errrrrrrr!!!!!
