I have only used Priceline for a few trips, but have been more than happy with the price and service offered. The express deals within the app and bidding option is a great way to save a lot of money! Highly suggest Priceline!
Beware in booking Rental Car with Priceline

Beware...i rented cars from Hertz and Avis via Priceline on my recent visit to Oahu and Maui. When I booked those cars. Priceline suggested an insurance for the car thru Alianz Global. When I picked the cars, Hertz and Avis told me that I should get the insurance through them as the company Alianz Global is a third party vendor that Priceline endorses and not as good as theirs as it would be hard to make a claim in event of an accident. I wasted a lot of money paying Priceline’s Alianz Global. No wonder Priceline had me prepay those insurance...If you book rental cars from Priceline, don’t buy the insurance that Priceline tries to sell you. It is better to get insurance from those rental car companies...

We've twice used Priceline Express, seeking 3 star or better, for lodging in Ithaca, NY, and Worcester, MA. It's a gamble because you don't know which hotel you get before you pay. We've done it the day before, and two days before the date(s) we want. Happy surprise that in both instances we got good hotels that we'd stayed at before. And when I looked up their current rates on a hotel booking site, those rates were 40%-50% more!

Our family has used Priceline for years, but never again. We had a disastrous situation at the Comfort Inn in Brunswick GA. The hotel was filthy, filled with cigarette smoke, and managed by a rude and inept staff. The reviews for this hotel on Priceline do not reflect the truth. Go to other sites to double check reviews before even considering booking through Priceline!!! Other than a few feeble attempts to contact the hotel and a few “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do,” Priceline would do nothing to help us recover our costs. There is ZERO consumer protection when you book through Priceline, so why would we ever do this again? Oh, that’s right. We won’t.
Get a nice hotel cheap.

Makes the crappy hotels even cheaper and the nice hotels the same price as the crappy hotels. I use it all the time. Thanks to this app I was able to stay in dallas in an extended stay for $19 for one night. Now THATS cheap.
