Beware in booking Rental Car with Priceline – Priceline - Hotel, Car, Flight Review

Beware...i rented cars from Hertz and Avis via Priceline on my recent visit to Oahu and Maui. When I booked those cars. Priceline suggested an insurance for the car thru Alianz Global. When I picked the cars, Hertz and Avis told me that I should get the insurance through them as the company Alianz Global is a third party vendor that Priceline endorses and not as good as theirs as it would be hard to make a claim in event of an accident. I wasted a lot of money paying Priceline’s Alianz Global. No wonder Priceline had me prepay those insurance...If you book rental cars from Priceline, don’t buy the insurance that Priceline tries to sell you. It is better to get insurance from those rental car companies...
