Excellent, very useful

NuclearWynter

Great app, the features of controlling play speed and being able to apply custom settings to multiple podcasts is very useful for keeping my play queue clear and only with stuff I want to hear. I hope they are working on an Apple Watch companion app so I can send my podcasts to my Apple Watch. That’s the only feature I’m missing. I also love that this has a feature that allows me to login into certain podcasts that have a “premium” section.

Well worth paying for the full version

I was just looking for a new podcast app that would let me skip back and forward a few seconds over a Bluetooth connection (which the Apple app strangely doesn't allow). I chose this app since it had a free version and I ended up getting so much more! I love all the customization options for each podcast and the fact that I can finally select all episodes when editing (another feature missing from the Apple app). So happy with it after a few days that I had to purchase to support the devs. One request I'd make is a filter for listened episodes so I can select them all and archive them. Thanks for the great app!

Simply the best.

Just freaking use it. It has volume boost and everything else your picky heart desires.

This app finds the perfect blend of ease and customizability. I love how clear and easy it is. I love the queue; makes choosing my next shows real efficient. I love the categories to organize.

Very friendly and useful app

I've enjoyed using RRS radio for about 4 yrs now and never have any issues with it. I'm sure I don't use all the features it has but enjoy listening to several of my favorite podcasts with it on my iPhone and iPad . Like that I can archive shows to not take up space then retrieve old shows for another listen.

Perfect podcast app for me!

Finally gave up on the native iOS app and found this, works great, with all the options I need!

Great Podcast App

This is my favorite app for podcasts. Highly customizable and user friendly. Perfect for those who know what they want out of a podcast player.

Customizable & Reiliable

GIJaneAusten

I love this podcast app. The grid podcast layout is perfect and easier to navigate than scrolling one by one down a list of shows. Please never change that! It’s super customizable yet not overwhelming. I love everything about this app, and I’m glad I happened upon it.

Not THE most customizable player

PhelineCat

It surprises me when people say things like that this is the most customizable podcast player available because it's certainly not. Overcast still wins in that. Download pods, no matter how old, choose the number you want downloaded, order played and viewed, smooth speed change and silence shortener (not elimination), sorted manual and smart playlists, locked RSS feeds, easy to move to different lists, auto delete after listening or simple delete if I change my mind, subscribe or pick and choose… Why am I cheating on Overcast and trying others? There's no Cloud storage for queued episodes or even notation to signify what's next unless I download. At last count I had some 50 pods with between 1-20 episodes queued, although I rarely queue more than 10 and generally stick to 3. The majority of my storage is my podcasts. This doesn't give me Cloud storage and it just cuts silence instead of shortening it. That's disturbing. Thanks for trying though, and keep trying.

Should be 4 stars

Mostly works well, but there is one HUGE, annoying bug. When a subscribed podcast releases a show in several parts, such as “Episode 492, part 1”, “Episode 492, part 2”, etc, the app only auto-downloads one of the episodes. I have to go back to the subscription page, reload, and manually select the eps to put in the download queue. Please clear this up and I’ll give your app extra stars. :)
