Plex-The easiest way to view and share your stuff

I first downloaded the Plex environment a year ago. It was obvious to me after a month that I needed to get a lifetime subscription. It beautifully organizes your movies, tv shows, and music into easy to view and listen groups. And now, with the addition of live TV via approved tuners, we see our over the air tv anywhere while also being able to record it and have it stored in Plex ready to view. The one area I have had difficulty is getting my pictures organized so that they can be viewed. That’s not really important to me, but if it is to you, be certain to try Plex first before buying a license.

Been using the app for years. It works great on most devices if files are x264. The plex pass is worth it if you use the media server routinely.

Wish it could run as a windows service, windows 10 frequently reboots with security patches and becomes frustrating as you’re out and want to watch something remote to find out that the server rebooted.

Sits on the black screen that says "plex" when app is first launched for about 30 seconds then crashes to home screen 100% of the time on my 5s.

growing up in the PC era, my first computer at age 12, I have never experienced software that is so well designed, and so well maintained. as long as you can rip digital files from your chosen media, this is the best. better than the best. it is a pleasure to pay for the premium version.
Not the first media server I've tried but the best so far.

Plex is awesome for watching tv movies and all other things like that. But there is one problem, if you want it I suggest updating your phone or tablet or whatever you use to stay up to date, and if you can't well your screwed. You see the way these work are if they're up to date they work fine. But if not you'll usually try to open the app and it will instantly close again. This usually means its time for an update, but if you can't update it your screwed. This happened to me so I either A. Have to use my tv which I don't want to because then I can't hear anything or see anything or B. buy a new f**king piece of software or waste precious space I need on my iPhone. So yes do get the app, if you can update it. If not go buy a new piece of tech or go watch it on the tv. Thanks have a great day. A**holes
