PIP is no longer automatic

Since the latest update the Picture In Picture no longer works when you swipe the app up. You have to tap the PiP icon to invoke it.

absolutely stunning how plex gets worse and worse with every update and at this point cant even manage basic functionality. the app literally doesnt function anymore. i have so many terrible things to say about plex as a service that i find myself dumbfounded when i try to start somewhere. it's pretty much the only option for what it does though so we're all stuck here until someone else comes along and does what they do better. it just feels like a toxic relationship at this point.
Completely freezes now

My iOS is up to date as always but the app just freezes or runs way too slow. Never had an issue till now
Freezes when resuming playback

There has been a bug for a while now where Plex will freeze if trying to resume playback after returning to the app.

Newest update broke things and required reinstalling the app to fix functionality. Otherwise great app and would be five stars if not for the untested release the broke everyone.

This last update broke it. I’ve been using Plex for years and this is the first time I’ve seen an update break things so bad. I use it every night and it’s all but bricked tonight after I updated my iPad. Please fix it.

Tons upon tons of cellphone locking up ads, versus 1-2 minutes of movie(bad movies at that) can be seen. They message you not fast enough for movie streaming, but no problem with ads, they stream just fine!
Playback freezes

Playback freezes in iOS when minimizing the app and then returning to in in a minute. I have to close and reopen it to make it work again. Latest Plex version, latest iOS and latest phone model.
