I have waited to find an app like this forever!! After playing with it, I immediately got the lifetime membership! It's the perfect app for anyone wanting to access their home library seamlessly. I literally have not stopped recommending this to everyone I meet.

Latest update broke iOS. Hangs, crashes, won’t stream anything. My android phone still works so I know my server is working. Please fix this!

I have loved Plex for many years, but that love is slowly fading. This latest update has trashed casting on the most recent iOS version. Not cool. Read the forums devs!!!!
App Not Working After Update

I have a lifetime membership. Regularly use the app on my iPad. After the latest update it is very, very slow or unresponsive.
Freezes

Since the update, I can no longer use the app. It freezes and I can’t click on anything. I hope this is fixed soon. It was great before the update.
Latest Update Broke the App

Freezes after loading my library. Doesn’t respond to clicks, and therefore won’t play anything on both iPhone & iPad. Web & Roku work fine.

When I open the plex app, it no longer responds to my touch gestures. It is unusable. This is the latest version of the plex app that I run. Plexamp does not have this problem.
Plex on iOS: what happened?

My Plex app has stopped working for me. I’ve used Plex Media Server and this app since the very beginning (2010?), and been an enthusiastic fan. But as of about a week ago, the iOS app stopped being launchable entirely: at best I just get the splash screen, then sometimes the skeleton of my library but without the thumbnails being filled in. Nothing clickable. In short, unusable. But the Plex client works fine on other platforms, such as my Smart TV. Googling, I find that this breakdown appears to have occurred as of late January 2022. When will it be fixed?

I just upgraded my iPad. The iOS authorization to play more than 1 minute did not transfer to my new device (this was a $4.99 purchase) I’ve spent 3 hours trying to fix the problem. The error message says “Uh-oh! The operation couldn’t complete. Try again.” I could find no support. The forums do not have a solution for this problem. Save yourself a headache and find another program.
