Used to work great. Last update and it broke

Previous to the last update I could use the app with no issue. After the update, nothing will play. I’m luck if the screen registers I tapped something. So since the update I have not been able to use the app. Every other app works fine so I know it’s not the phone. Fix your bugs plex
Latest update broken

Used to love the app but now it won’t even play any video files. App freezes and unresponsive. What’s more bizarre is cellular data will work with the app but not wifi. If I open plex in a web browser with wifi it works perfectly with no freezing. This is all on the latest iOS firmware. Look elsewhere and don’t give them any money until they fix this
Broken in Feb 2022 update

Latest update (as of 12 Feb) has made up completely unreliable. Freezes after about a minute every time. Neither force-quitting app or restarting device fix the problem. Was great, and I normally recommend highly, but this update needs to be fixed or rolled back.
PIP is no longer automatic

Since the latest update the Picture In Picture no longer works when you swipe up the app. You have to tap the PiP icon to invoke it.

I don't give 1-star reviews to any product that is working, even a little bit. Huge features can be broken, and I will still give more than one star if the app opens when I ask it to, displays the right information on its home screen, and closes when I ask it to. A 1-star review is for when it couldn't be any worse. Although this app opens and closes, it does not render its home screen, and it does not respond to inputs. The fact that it opens is irrelevant because it does absolutely nothing right after that. Meanwhile Plex clients on other platforms continue to work normally, so it's not my server. This app was working fine until recently. I used it often to play music from my server in another room on my headphones at my desk. I didn't love everything about it, but basic functionality like retrieving music across the LAN and playing it smoothly seemed to work well enough. Now, this app is completely broken on iPadOS. And since my Android device has no headphone jack, my entire Plex music library is down until I find a server, protocol, and client that work. There's only one reason why it's so hard to enjoy one's own digital music in the 21st century. Think about it.
Newest update slowed it down

I have been using Plex for a long time now and really like it. For some reason now it keeps freezing up and running super slow. I’m running IOS 15 too. Not sure what the problem is.

I’m surprised more when it works at this point. What happened with the most recent release - it had been fine up until this point? Is there any way to download an earlier version? Yikes!

The app worked fine a few days ago on my IPhone but no longer works. It is working fine on all my fire sticks though.
