I don’t ever rate apps but this one definitely deserves it. Very well put together and very nice way of storing media! Perfect!

I was streaming Plex on my phone. Every time I stopped the show, I had to watch over 3 minutes of commercials…then the commercials would freeze, and restart another round of commercials for 3 minutes. I’ll just watch movies using another ap.

The only thing missing is universal search and play integration with streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, AppleTV and Paramount+. I want Plex to be the the launchpad for everything that has to do with video and audio content.
Background behavior is broken

Dismissing the app when content is casted and paused breaks the connection. As soon as you reopen the app, the casted session breaks.

Crashes constantly. Glad I didn’t buy the lifetime subscription, when my annual expires I’m moving to jellyfin.
