Oh my gosh!
this game is so mich fun
Oh my gosh when my dad was done setting it up I could watch anything I wanted to watch but he would have to download it first on the app but now my whole family has Plex and it is so awesome so thank to technology people who invent things that help make our lives better!!!!! -Emilee (I am 8 years old and about to turn 9 so yeah thank you so much!!!)
Fire stick app is useless

I’ve been using plex for my library for almost 10 years. Switched from old Rokus to fire sticks. Been playing with these things for 2 days and can’t get movies to play. It recognizes my library (albeit glitchy at times) but when I go to play a movie it just spins forever. My Xbox does not have thins problem whatsoever. This is infuriating. I may have to send all of these fire sticks back.
Photo backup never works

Even in past some would backup but never again. Never get the feature to work and it was one of my reasons to get plex pass.
Almost gave up, but stuck with it.

There are a lot of settings to learn and it’s easy to mess things up at first. I did and I almost threw in the towel when I lost my server files but decided to stick with it and now I don’t know what I would do without it.

My first month was great! I got to make a playlist and see some old favorites I couldn’t find anywhere else. Now, my playlist is GONE! I try to find a movie I’d like to watch, and I get 18 adds in doses of 3 every 20 minutes! What the heck?!?

6/4/2020- folders broken, can’t sync individual video folders 6/24 - still can’t sync folders to my ipad 7/15 - another update, another disappointment that this issue isn’t fixed 8/9 - still waiting for folder sync to come back 8/26 - forever one star until folder sync returns
THE BEST STREAMING PLATFORM FOR HOME SERVERS

If you’re like me, and you want to have control over the media your family consumes, (I’m looking at you Netflix), you set up your own home server. This application is the one you want. I have tried others but Plex just has the most support. I can stream from any device my account is signed into. Usually i will stream from my iPad or PS4 in another room. Its amazing. Its like having your own Netflix that YOU control.. I dont like that you have to pay $5 on iOS devices per account to bypass the limit, but to be honest, its well worth it. The best new feature is “watch together”. I can stream a show or video and watch it with a family member that lives far away. I’m a huge fan The coolest part is how it pulls in data about your tv shows or movies automatically. You have to have your database organized correctly to do this. I use an application called TV Rename on windows to do this. There’s a learning curve to all of this but, if you’re willing to put in the time, its well worth it.

Latest update is horrible. Can’t even access my library. Search is useless. I’m shocked. Trying to figure out how to revert to pre update app.
Audio Sync on Apple TV

There’s a terrible audio sync issue on Apple TV when connecting to a Bluetooth speaker. Doesn’t affect other apps.
