The app not only has full screen ads (with a paid subscription) but then disables fast forwarding through commercials on a local channel. Hey Sony, tell me why I would ever PAY for this service when I can fast forward through local channels for free using an antenna?
Extend DVR on live TV

Update: Please don’t replace a live recording on the DVR with a later recording on the same day. Plus I want I want to watch my recording not a later what is considered live but is a shorter later recording. Now 3 stars. I would give 5 stars but there is no way to time on the DVR for a live sporting event it would be great if you can add it. Anywhere from 15 mins over to 1 hour over.

I’m gonna explain why you should subscribe to PlayStation Vue Four different packages to choose from Access package for $44.99 a month for 45+ channels Core package for $49.99 a month for 70+ channels Elite package for $59.99 a month for 100+ channels Ultra for $79.99 a month for the same amount of channels +Hbo and Showtime It’s unlike YouTube tv or Fubo tv or Hulu live beacuse those are one package only services And you get an unlimited dvr storage on up to 500 shows each recording will be stored for 28 days Create up to 10 profiles 5 people can watch at once Stuff I don’t like You can only be signed in on 5 devices I herd Your missing A&E and Vicaom networks Picture can be better enspiclly on PlayStation The price for the access package should be $39.99 a month at least There is no free trial for the Ultra package, at least I have the core package You only get a 5 day free trial when the other services besides YouTube tv you get a 7 day free trial, the free trial already pasted for me so I can’t complain It buffers a bit not a lot tho so it’s fine Updated only 28 days of dvr storage Updated added more channels and made changes to the lineup raised the prices by five bucks a month Little bit more buffering issues and gilitches Changing my review from four stars to three stars

I’m not one to write reviews, but I just couldn’t stand by and not let people know about the terrible service I receive with this app. When it works, it’s works great. The only problem is, it keeps on freezing. It’s frozen right now. Which is why I decided to finally write. The app can’t get through a simple 30 minute show without freezing at least 3 times. Today is Sunday and as you might imagine, I’ve lost the ability to follow a football game live. The “head shaker” part of this is, when it freezes, I’ll go to Netflix and no problem. Then I’ll immediately go back to Vue, and still frozen. I’m trying to hold out, but if this continues, gonna be forced to cancel and try another service or go back to cable. I really had high hopes. FAIL.

I use the app all the time, because I travel for a living. The app works pretty well most of the time. My frustration comes in when 1) I am unable to use my hdmi adapter to watch my shows on my tv, for what we pay for this service why is that not allowed? I do it with fire tv, PlayStation, Amazon tv, why can’t I plug my phone in and watch a larger screen? Netflix and Hulu allow us to! 2) please fix the timing issues with shows in the dvr! I am constantly watching the last mins of one show prior to the one I actually want watch, and losing the last minute or so of that show because it cuts off early due to the last shows bleed over.. At least can we some how have an option to add a min at the end of a show or something? For those reasons I am giving a two rating, and also how it skips sometimes or I get this weird fast forwarding thing happen..

Great service, but the app has a lot problems. All platforms: Shows don’t get fully recorded cutting of the last minute or so. REALLY!???? Come on, man. No way to set it to record a few minutes after a show to avoid that. iOS: Constantly asks if I want to customize my home screen despite having done so already. Lots of other small glitches that come and go. Crashes periodically and doesn’t remember where it was when it crashed so I have to locate where it left off. tvOS Not all episodes of shows are being recorded. After a month I’m beginning to wonder when this will be fixed. Seems, I dunno. Urgent.
