Constantly having to uninstall and reinstall

My phone.com app is pretty buggy. I have two problems that have not been resolved by customer service. One is that my contacts keep disappearing so I don’t know the name of the people attached to telephone numbers. This is challenging when I need to select a customer to send out to NOW but I can’t find their name in my contacts. I also have an annoying problem where the voicemails will continually play even over the top of each other. Sometimes that even happens after I delete voicemail. Customer service typically tells me to delete and reinstall the app. This is their solution to the problems. So I probably delete the app at least once or twice a week. Not even sure why I’m still with this company except that it’s too much trouble to figure out how to leave it.

Hard to set things set up. Took me calling customer service three different times before I finally got someone who was willing to help set my settings up. The app allows me to listen to one voice mail then have to close out of app before I can listen to another one; same with text messages. Would be a great system if they could get the glitches fixed.

I don’t know if it’s the service as a whole or just the app. But text messages don’t stay in a thread. If I have a group message I get multiple responses. And of course the phone doesn’t stop providing notification updates each time. And it’s all the same message. Three people on a group message, I get three notifications. So flipping annoying. Sometimes I have to log out and log back in in order to get the app to clear any messages that have been read. Phone calls sometimes go through The Facebook messenger app not the phone. Sometimes I will answer a call and it will show as if there are two split calls. One has been declined and the other excepted. At this point, I’m so aggravated with the service behind the app or at least the app itself I just don’t know what to do other than cancel the whole thing and start over after three years of using the service. It’s awful.
The contacts keep disappearing

Imagine you put all your business contacts in the phone.com app. It works great for a couple of weeks and then all the contacts disappear! Perhaps a bug in an older version of the app? Now imagine you delete, download then reinstall the app all over again. You put all of your business contacts in again and they all disappear after a couple of weeks again. Wouldn't you be frustrated? I have reported this to the company but they haven't fixed it yet. Maybe someday.

This app has always been a little quirky. for example the voicemail screen freezes sort of. messages will play for a few seconds then stop on their own. pressing play does nothing to restart the message, refreshing (pull down) doesn’t help. I usually have to close the app completely and reload to listen to messages again. The newest bug is selecting multiple messages to delete/move does nothing visually. You select the messages and the selection dot never fills. so you just hope you selected all the ones. I’m finally tired of fighting this app and am likely switching to google voice now that they have an auto attendant. I have Grasshopper for my other business and it’s great but i cant have 2 instances of grasshopper on one phone. otherwise i’d use grasshopper. it works much better than this.

It’s just like using a regular phone interface. Like having a phone inside of a phone. Always get issues resolved by logging out/in or calling in to support.
Just plain messed up

No way to export or save messages outside of the system. Continuously says I have new texts when I do not and there is no way to mark them as read. Every time I open the app it randomly plays a voicemail, sometimes quite loudly, even when I’m not in that tab. Syncing contacts to iOS is quirky, and sometimes I have to do some research to find out who is texting.

Click edit and tap a voicemail and nothing happens. No way to select and delete.
