Great app for parents

We use this with the Our Pact Jr. for our kids and it’s a fantastic toolset to help set limits. The only thing I’d like to see added is a way to adjust the “remaining allowance”. That way if a kid does something to earn more time we could add it to a specific day. Initially we had a bunch of black out periods for our kids during the summer. Now we just block out bedtime and give them the allowance. It’s much better for everyone because that actually teaches them to budget their time! By the way, Don’t be confused by the low ratings Our Pact Jr. gets ... those are all left by kids that had to install it and aren’t happy about it.?

I have used this app for several years. When I wanted to start using the allowance feature, I was told I had to install OP Jr. so I tried several times, to no avail. Support them explained that if I’ve never had OP Jr, that there was no way for me to utilize this feature at all. This is the part that teaches kids how to self-monitor & be aware of their time usage. With OP Jr also comes the GPS service and more. I just don’t understand A) why they have to be 2 separate things and B) just because I’ve never had OP Jr installed, why I never can? It makes no sense. If it weren’t for this, I’d give them 5 stars, but this seems like a HUGE glitch.

I’ve had this app for years now for both of my kids iPads. A little glitchy at times and the. Recently it was blocked from my apple store. So glad my kids iPads were not locked when this app stopped working on my apple devices. Overall I’m glad it’s back and won’t get another app! It was worth the wait on getting it back!

Challenging to work with

I like the general functionality, but set up is complicated and the app constantly forgets my credentials (none of my other apps do this), meaning the app is never “ready” when I go to shut down the kids iPads.

I have had this app on my phone and on my daughters’ phones for about a year and a half. When it works, it is the best thing since sliced bread. However, it is Constantly disconnecting and I have spent dozens of hours circling trying to get it to work again. Customer service has been great, but they can’t help the issues that this application continues to give customers. I paid for the subscription for about a year and I’m just tired of constantly trying to fix it. There is a reason that the App Store is no longer offering Ourpact Jr., which is required for the application to work! Truly disgusted and disappointed. I doubt another application will offer as much control or options, but maybe it won’t be as complicated or have as many tech problems. I truly wish that I could keep the subscription, but I’m done fighting with it.

Deleted and scrambled my kid's folders

My kid like sorting and she kept her iPad organized into folders when I installed the app and tried it for the first time pressed block then grant the boom all the folders are gone and apps are scrambled and now we have a very disappointed unhappy child ;(

I absolutely love this app, our pact is the main reason my kids were able to have a phone since they were 10 yrs old. I’ve had this app for 3/4yrs now I don’t mess with it as much now (it’s set in schedule and I forget about it) but i still enjoy having the power to get my kids attention when with this app, my kids absolutely hate it... my 14yr old recently discover how to remove it but he still won’t because he knows well that will be the last day he owns a phone... I work for cell phone company and I recommend it left and right.. I personally am an iPhone user and many times android parents are hesitant about getting their kids an iPhone I tell them about this app and they flip! (The kids not so much). Thank you for this App, I think every parent needs to know about this app and regain control over their kids screen time. ????????
