Not happy with CBS app

Had lots of technical difficulties with the app. Lots of times it would get stuck in the middle of a show and we would have to start all over again. More importantly I take issue with paying for a subscription AND having to sit through ads. Of course Star Trek Discovery was awesome. That made it worth the torture with the app.
Commercial Free Subscription and I Still Get Ads?!

I pay for the highest level plan so I don't have to deal with commercials but, I still get CBS promos... REALLY?! I don't think they know what commercial free means. If I pay for a commercial free experience I expect a true commercial free experience. I wish CBS would just partner with Hulu to give all of us a better experience.

My satellite bill went up $12 this year. I’m already paying them $10 to receive the local channels. It went up $2 and I refuse, REFUSE to pay anymore money just watch a show that I cannot DVR because of other shows. What a rip off charging people double just to watch a show that they miss at its regularly Scheduled viewing. I did not delve into the programming for either one week free trial, so I can’t tell you whether or not the streaming is interrupted but I do agree that in the past, getting back to a point where you had to leave often resulted in commercials that were totally unnecessary and there was a time or 2 that I just shut down the whole thing. If you’ve got deep pockets and can afford their exorbitant prices, then perhaps this is for you. However, if you’re on a limited income as many of us seniors are, then this is nothing but a huge PIA!

Pretty crappy for a paid app. Constantly crashes on both my iPhone X and iPad Pro. Will be cancelling after my one week trial. Highly disappointing.

It satisfies me. But, i have to say the commercials when you’re watching a show, are annoying.

CBS, why did I get charged for an app that I simply downloaded months ago. You don’t even have all your content on the app, so I forgot I even had this on my phone. Please help me with this.

At one point had connection issues but the app works well now. Especially like that some shows have no commercials and I have access to new programs the next day after airing on TV.
Current version keeps crashing

Really annoyed with the app, on the iPhone 6 running the current version of iOS 11 and the app will always crash before opening so I can never use it

This app does not allow you to view shows after a week with a cable subscription, it just asks you to pay more to watch their shows. Well, I won’t do it. I can do without their shows; you won’t get my view for ratings! Can’t you be like any other app n allow a cable subscription! So done with cbs
