No multiplayer, no AI

Warth0g

The laziest port I’ve ever seen. The description on the App Store says it has support for 2,3 or 4 players. How misleading. There’s no multiplayer at all, you just do pass to play. And if you want to play solo, there’s no AI as far as I can tell to play to play your team mates. I feel robbed.

Glitches

I have played for a while and love the game.

Faithful adaptation of the board game!

mathgrant

This app is essential for every iPad board gamer with $7. It’s all the fun of the box game without the setup or dismantling.

Great game.

Bow Down Boy

This game plays very closely to the board game. It’s fun on its own, and it’s also a good way to learn how to survive the board game.

Drains battery iPhone 8

J Aytch

Everything about the game is great except for the drain on battery. One game started after phone taken off charger drains the battery to 69% from 100%.

Great game but unbalanced

Pr1vateer

This is a fantastic puzzle solving game. My only gripe is that it is extremely difficult. I find it nearly impossible to win without the team of Scientist, Dispatcher, Ops Specialist, and Medic. And even then, I can only win a little over half the time; some games are completely unwin-able. Seems unbalanced and the AI may be cheating to make it difficult, not sure... still it’s a great game. Edit: Ok after playing about 60 times, it’s clear to me that the game is not random. The AI intentionally and continuously causes outbreaks in highly unlikely situations. This is not fun to sit there and predict where the next outbreak occurs when it should be random. Instead the Algorithm picks the only places where outbreaks can occur to make the game more difficult. This is poor game design. Just let people play without the artificial difficulty added in. The game is fun enough without making it impossible to win. I no longer recommend this game.

Plays exactly like the board game!

KillerBee92

Fantastic game that plays exactly like the board game. People who say the game “cheats” after an epidemic just don’t understand how the board game works. After an epidemic, all of the past infection cards are shuffled and placed on top of the deck—making it basically certain that new infections will hit cities that are already infected. That’s how the board game works, and the app does the same thing. Highly recommended for iPad. A little hard (but not impossible) to play on the iPhone.

Let me superwin!

hkh2os

I'll be honest, I play this too much. My goal is always to "superwin"--cure and eradicate all diseases. I've done it quite a few times (with hard level set) because I'll have my medic sitting on the last diseased city when I do the final cure. However, I get no recognition or bonus props. What?!! Plus, you can't keep playing once you've cured all disease, which limits the ways I could super win. Sometimes I have cards left to draw so I could have time for my people to go around to eradicate but the game just says I won. Yes, I'm addicted and should stop playing, but instead let me superwin please!!

i too would like to play until all diseases are eradicated.

i too would like to play until all diseases are eradicated.

Very complicated

Josmoey4

I recently bought the board game and I found the results very similar. There is an extensive amount of rules you have to follow. A variety of different scenarios present them selves making the game further complex. Overall, I got bored or frustrated very quickly.
