Great game but unbalanced – Pandemic: The Board Game Review

This is a fantastic puzzle solving game. My only gripe is that it is extremely difficult. I find it nearly impossible to win without the team of Scientist, Dispatcher, Ops Specialist, and Medic. And even then, I can only win a little over half the time; some games are completely unwin-able. Seems unbalanced and the AI may be cheating to make it difficult, not sure... still it’s a great game. Edit: Ok after playing about 60 times, it’s clear to me that the game is not random. The AI intentionally and continuously causes outbreaks in highly unlikely situations. This is not fun to sit there and predict where the next outbreak occurs when it should be random. Instead the Algorithm picks the only places where outbreaks can occur to make the game more difficult. This is poor game design. Just let people play without the artificial difficulty added in. The game is fun enough without making it impossible to win. I no longer recommend this game.
