Found a flaw

I just had the game end due to continuous outbreaks of the same three cities next to each other. In the rules it states that a city can't outbreak twice on the same infection card draw. This needs fixed! Love this game app though!

As far as the notion that the game cheats...

I found it absolutely paranoid and absurd that some people felt the programmers designed the game to "cheat" and start hitting you with epidemics in problem areas when you start doing well... but then I started paying attention... and it started happening again and again and again and again... the most egregious time was actually during a win when I had three diseases cured (two eradicated) and five cards ready to cure the fourth. I also had one outbreak token... by the time I won, I had FIVE OUTBREAK TOKENS!!!! It absolutely could simply be the way the board game is designed or that I'm not a great player; I accept this fully, but I also see the "cheating" some of these reviews are talking about...

Excellent Game! A must have!!!

6 STARS OUT OF 5!!! I love this game! It’s a great challenge and the replay value is second to none. Listen, I rarely write reviews but I have to give props where props are due. The different character roles are ingenious. I love the fact there are no ads. I’ve been looking for a looking for a en engaging intellectual challenge. Honestly, this is the BEST iOS game I’ve ever played. This ranks as one of my top games of all time (including video and board games) The game IS challenging to the point where I wonder if I can ever win. I’ll admit I won a couple games on introduction level but at least I was able to win. Some games (Forbidden Island) Cheat to the point where you can’t win even on easy level. But I found my game! If you make an official Part 2....keep the mechanics the same.....add new characters and add multi player function. Keep up the good work!

Good game

Love the board game and this is a good digital variant. Like another reviewer I'd like an option to continue the game after the four cures are found to cure all the infections. :)

A Really Good but not quite GREAT App

What is Pandemic? Pandemic is a modern table-top game that has received countless awards and accolades. Before there was Plague Inc. on iOS, there was Pandemic, a game where you try to rid the world of diseases, not end the world. How good is the App? The App, originally developed by F2Z - Z-Man Games Digital Department - is good. Really, really good. If you’ve never played Pandemic, the app is an excellent experience. If you HAVE played Pandemic and are looking for a quick fix, the app will suit your needs as well. What about IAP’s / Expansions / etc.? The Pandemic App in it’s current form has two IAP’s, both are from the On The Brink Expansion. One is new roles/events, and the other is the Virulent Strain Epidemic Cards. But other expansions are not available. The other aspects of OTB, not here. In the Lab, not here. The other maps for Pandemic (Cthulhu, Iberia, Netherlands, Legacy Season I, Legacy Season II) — not available. F2Z Entertainment has been acquired by Asmodee Digital, who has been putting out lots and lots of excellent apps. That said, Asmodee noted a while ago that they were working on a big overhaul/update for Pandemic. Since then, there’s been nothing but Radio Silence. As such, nobody knows whether a large Pandemic App update is actually forthcoming or not. As somebody with a good bit of tabletop Pandemic Play, the app is OK. It really needs the royal treatment to take it up to 5 stars. Being able to play the other expansions for the base game, and even another map, or even the Season I Legacy campaign digitally would be a very, very welcome feature. With Season I begin the top rated game of all-time, I imagine people would gobble-up the app to try to increase their campaign score. But for now, all we have is the base game and a couple of features from OTB. My Wishlist for the App would include (in this order): Iberia Map Season I Campaign Netherlands Map The Rest of OTB Other Expansion Modules Unfortunately, I’m just not sure we’ll ever see any future updates. Don’t get me wrong. Like I noted above, the app is good. Really, really good. And if Asmodee puts out this “large” update they talked about months ago, it may even become Great. But in it’s current form, it’s a good, solid, 4-star app.

great game, crap app

the board game is great playing by yourself on a 5 inch screen is awful i really wish i didn’t pay for $4.99 for something i deleted in 10 minutes

Could be great but for rng fail

It’s fun about 3 games in 10. The other 7 games I get the first epidemic card on turn one or two, and/or all four epidemic cards before getting midway through the deck. The board game is playable because you can actually properly space out the epidemic cards. Fix your rng on the epidemic cards and it’s 5/5

Well Done

A perfect solitaire iOS adaptation of one of my favorite cooperative table top games. To the whiners - this is a hard game and it doesn't cheat. It plays exactly like the table top version. You should learn to play smarter. To the devs - Pandemic Legacy? Pretty please.

I love this game... but...

Ok let me say, as the board game (and yes I have it), I absolute love it! Down side is not many can play, but it’s so much fun and I hate Risk and games like that. I was so excited when I learned there’s an app game for it as well, so I bought it. I like it because it explains better what each character does and now I know I wasn’t playing the game correctly; however... THE COMPUTER CHEATS! The odds that the infected city you just drew after an epidemic being shuffled to the top almost every time, isn’t too high. Yet the computer does that a lot and it causes multiple epidemics.... then you end up losing. And that’s on easy! I’ve maybe won 5 games out of 50 I’ve played. So there’s that. But I still love the game
