Last night a friend introduced me to the board game and we had a blast. I thought it would be cool to play with some of my friends who live in other cities, so I googled to see if the game was available electronically. I was very excited to see that there was an iPhone app. I watched the promo, it seemed like what I wanted so I paid the $5 and downloaded it. I very quickly figured out that there was not a way to play online with other people. How dumb is that!? I guess I’m the dummy for not reading the description carefully enough before purchasing. But I don’t think it unreasonable to expect a digital implementation of a multiplayer board game to work online. I wish I could get my $5 back.

A very well done transfer for a board game to mobile. I personally would love to see a multiplayer be introduced, whether via Bluetooth or WiFi and one person being the host or however. My friends would love this. Thanks for all your hard work and I can’t wait to see what improvements are made!

My wife has accused me of becoming an addict of this game, and I have to say that after a 100+game plays, I have finally eradicated all of the diseases off the board! Huzzah!

This game is near exact to the physical board game. The only con, and it’s a big one in my book, it’s much more difficult to beat. Several times I’ve been one or two turns away from winning and then lose. The “random” draw gives you Epidemic cards at key times and holds back on giving you city cards you needs. It seems the key strategy for winning this version is eradicating as soon as possible, but you risk running out of drawable cards.

Always has you coming back for more. The hallmarks of a great game are replayability and challenge. Each game is different, and each one comes down to those last few turns where you win or (more likely) lose. But each games forces you to think “how could i have played that differently that might have let me win?” You will DEFINITELY get your money’s worth.
