Is it worth it?

This app is helpful for monitoring considering the poorly designed monitoring system on the GH4. Though I would rather not have to use an app to monitor, the GH4 leaves me with little choice. This app gets the job done but at a cost. There is no full screen viewing. Does this seem like a major mishap on Panasonic’s part? Yes, yes it does. When using an iPhone without an extra large screen it is almost unusable. The viewing screen is so tiny that it is hardly useful, especially when monitoring for video. The app has no lag (that would be a plus if you could see the screen to tell there was no lag). Panasonic, please update this app with full screen viewing. It would be a major upgrade and meet the desires of many customers.

Love the WiFi function and the ability to transfer photos directly to my phone. but it’s awfully unreliable and inconsistent. I’ve been unable to connect today, via favorites, qr code or manual entry. Once you are connected, selecting each photo 1x1 to transfer is also very laborious. Why is there no “transfer all new photos” option? Manually selecting 100 photos at a time is miserable.

Looks like Panasonic’s iOS developers are the worst in the business. This app is dated and not simple to use, nor does it function most of the time.

Seriously? This makes me so sad. You are a multimillion dollar corporation making some pretty sweet cameras. This is the best you got?! Have a sense of pride and make an app worthy of 2018 and the array of slick smartphone offerings your customers surely own. For shaaaaame...

I find that the app works well on GH4/GH5 but my biggest complaint is how small the viewer is. It should have the option to be viewed in full screen so you can actually monitor the footage! Also, give us the option to hide the tools. They add & update cameras so often but this app hasn’t been changed in years & it’s definitely time Panasonic.

Camera says remote is connected, yet app takes another 60 seconds or so to acknowledge it. App is so ridiculously slow. Freezes. Lags. Panasonic makes a great camera, but they need to fire their software developers. Unusable.

This app works somehow. Was not clear how to transfer photos from my lumix to my iPhone 7 but I finally did it. Process was slow (maybe camera WiFi is not fast enough). Why should I select photos to transfer on the small camera display? Why not to implement a browser in this app? And it seems there is only one developer (company) for most huge brands like panasonic - all these apps are ugly, badly designed, horrible graphics, stupid logic, buggy. So subj.
