No longer works

I had it working but then it stopped. So now I am trying to get it to re-pair the bluetooth connection and it won’t- despite following the instructions included in the manual exactly.

This app freezes up all the time and that causes the camera to freeze. Only a “battery pull” will make the camera recover. Recently I tried to zoom in and it froze. Some time later the camera zoomed in all the way. Yeah, too bad about that recording I was doing.

I don’t know why so many people are having problems with this app but my guess is they are trying to connect through their WiFi network and not directly to the camera via WiFi. You also need to enable or set it up on the camera before it will connect. Four stars because it is a little clumsy to use but it works.

C’mon Panasonic, you are letting me down! Truly don’t want my lumix GH5 on my WiFi network. Just hoping that I could use the app solely for remote start and stop recording. Monitoring the display is fine, but a true utility app is all that is really needed here. First, write a simple step-by-step instructive page letting us know what needs to be done to connect via Bluetooth just to use the most simplistic controls. Second, describe why you seem to have to utilize WiFi. Makes no sense AT ALL!!!! I’d like to see someone at Panasonic try and use this app. There has got to be smarter developers at Panasonic that could improve this type of simplistic connection.

This is a horrible app! The connection with WiFi breaks a lot. No working for my G7 and my iPhone 6s. It is useless. Panasonic needs to do something about this. New Developers please.

I have GH5, which is a nightmare to use on this app. There's no direction, even when you're hooked up apparently you're not. Pairing the Bluetooth is like pulling teeth, Panasonic really needs to get out of the app business, you don't belong here

Really Panasonic? We spend loads on a camera that's fantastic (GH5) but can't get a half decent app? It's so buggy it's nearly unusable. Shame.

Yes, it connects. I only gave it two stars since it takes awhile for it to connect to my lumix gx85. Once it connects, I'm able to transfer photos to my phone via Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I wish this worked as a remote for my camera. Whenever I click the remote option, it makes me wait and at the end, it doesn't connect at all. My phone is less than 1 ft away my camera and it won't connect even after multiple attempts. Please fix it!

It’s a great app, I can’t understand the negative ratings. It works perfectly with my GX7 camera - remote shooting and transfer of images.
