I am loving this app. Works for all my podcast needs except for one thing. When using my Fitbit I can pause it but I can resume with my Fitbit device. The device also has a fast forward and rewind button. It would be great if those worked too preferably as the skip ahead 15 second and skip back 15 seconds (or whatever is set in my Overcast settings) Thanks!

This, as a simple podcast player, is a great app. It's simplistic design and ease of use put it above nearly every other option. What really puts Overcast over the edge is it's Smart Speed and Voice Boost. These two options make podcasts infinitely better. Having time-saving and audio-improving options built in has improved my experience significantly and made podcasts nearly unlistenable any other way.
Wish I had switched sooner!

It’s everything I wish the Apple podcast was. Biggest thing is easily playing episodes in chronological order, but there are dozens of things to customize to your needs, easily.
Why are there ads now??

Hi developers of Overcast. I’ve been using this app for a while now and I love it so much. It is the best podcast app out there. But why did you just very recently start showing ads for other podcasts. I hate all things ads related - there’s too much of that in the world - Overcast was one place I didn’t see it..until now. I will gladly pay $$ for an ad free version. Thanks.

A year ago I could use this app just fine on my old iPad 2 running iOS 9. Now, I there's no comparable version. Shame on you for not leaving an older version for those of us with older iPads who can't use the latest and greatest version of iOS.

I really like this app. It is much more streamline than others I’ve used and has automatic downloading. The only change I would like to see is something in the app that tells you there is a new episode of a show even after it has downloaded.

I found the other podcast player to be frustrating and non-user friendly. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It is a well-organized and easy to use app. Bravo to the creators!
