Unbelievable response from the developer

babeotter

Instead of recognizing that their app is full of buggy features that don’t work, the developer sent a passive aggressive response saying that if I don’t know how to use it then look at their help section. Hey I have been doing ERP implementations for over a decade and your app is the one that is crappy. I am probably one of the quickest adopters out there. I am not the problem. Your app and your attitude surely are the problems. Save your money and use talking parents which has solid basic features. Unbelievable that VCs wasted their money on this crap and the founder / developer’s attitude.

Great!

For our high conflict situation, it’s great. I don’t have to deal with the constant harassment until I’m mentally ready. Being able to document everything and have a place to share all info like insurance, school, schedules etc makes it worth the price for saving my sanity. High recommend for anyone sharing custody and needing to share a lot of info or in need of a way to me everything documented for the future.

Renewal.

Awful Scam

Terrible app. First I couldn’t register without calling. Now I cannot renew without calling. This has cost more time that I care to acknowledge. I have been getting an expiration notice for two weeks. There is only a prompt with an expiration notice and zero instruction on how to proceed. When I went through the app to renew.. it cannot be done without another call.

Hate this app

dhsuifugisis

This app is horrible , all it really needs to be is a message board but they can’t get that right. In any other message board, messages stack one on top of the other as they are sent. On this app it’s a complete mess, if you ever need to view a conversation the threads can be in a million different parts. My ex has caught on to this so she will reply only to the messages she wants to , leave out my responses, then screenshots it and sends it to the courts. OFW is an epic fail .

Better Free Tools out there

esjayeh

This tool is not worth the money. There are other free apps that have traceability to texts, calls logs etc. The UI on this app isn’t user friendly. They should have more features such as an option to keep track of pick up and drop off times for consistency purposes...funds spent, not just a request for funds... this app can definitely use some enhancements and better features.. I really hate using it

Great service

Z.Burgoin

I have been using OFW since 2013 & have found the system to be very useful & easy to navigate. The emails print nicely with details making it easy to include in court filings. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, I have been struggling so haven’t been able to make the annual membership payment & Mitch has been great, understanding, compassionate & has continuously given me courtesy extensions on my account. This has definitely help ease some of the financial burden. Thank you Mitch for the great customer service! Zinnia Burgoin

App review

The only frustrating thing for me is I don’t get sound notifications when I get a new message.

Great App coupled with Fantastic Support!

Very Disappointed 2020

Good day Parents, I just wanted to take the time to write a review. I almost never take the time to write a formal review unless something really negative happens. However, OFW has given me the opportunity to write a really positive review. This app has been instrumental in ensuring we(as parents) have the opportunity to have a reputable and recordable(permanent) communication exchange. What makes these two vital is that the court absolutely recognizes them, and opposing counsel won’t object(typically). Even then it’s irrefutable unless it’s not the complete compile of the message. This level of (witness) documentation is invaluable in so many ways. I personally had to use it in court and it was my saving grace from false allegations of contempt. At first, when my lawyer recommended it I was extremely skeptical because of the cost. I have been using it for a couple years now and can testify that the value absolutely surpasses the small cost passed on to the consumer. Not to mention that if you get into a situation often times support will work with parents in some capacity. I can definitely say they helped me when I met the criteria for assistance. That’s another thing I should mention. Support for the app is there, by telephone or email, and they are responsive. I know that I called in one time just to discuss how to use it better. Customer service was patient and taught me a few new tricks. I read a few other reviews that were not so hot. However, I’m not sure the reviewers have tested the reputation through the court exhibit submission process and scrutiny of 3 licensed bar members. I don’t want people to think everything is butterflies and rainbows. The application takes time and thought to learn it(as with anything). However, if a parent takes the time to learn what it has to offer the app delivers where it counts. The app has been updated at least once since I started using it, and I can t wait to see what’s coming in the future. The most recent updates really took it to another level. I can assure that you won’t regret it! Even if you think you and your ex communicate fantastic there’s always room for improvement, and nothing like the peace of mind of keeping the most valuable information to your family safe. Best Regards, Passionate Dad (Erik)

Features that would be helpful

jessonny412

A notification count would be very helpful to have on this app, it’s easy to over look a push notification and then forget it was there, leaving messages unread. A notification count on the app icon would be tremendously helpful!

This helps you keep track of everything. It maes it easy to log information. Keeps down confusion. Makes it easy to hold each other accountable.
