An app for people who like to bang their head against a wall.

MissMi9

I can only assume that this app was designed because onekingslane either wants you to spend no money or hates their customers and wants to give them the WORST experience possible. It is actually quite a feat to have packed in so many UX and UI faux pas into one little app. I don't know if any reputable website that has mucked things up quite as bad as OKL have with their new app. I used to love their app and have spent considerable sums purchasing furniture through them. However they apparently don't want my business anymore because making it impossible to even access you account is only the first hurdle. From making you sign in over and over at every click of a button through to returning you to the home screen or top of the page every time you want to go back, even the options to refine categories are designed with absolutely no common sense. Don't offer to refine prices by a $100 increments up to $750, most of the items are well over $750 so that is absolutely useless! Create a custom option. Create many options. Please, it's just terrible. This app was butchered. They have complicated their menu's and cluttered the layout. It is AWFUL. As a creative director I know app design can be costly and labor intensive, but when you have customers to lose, it's worth it. Pull the app and start over. Seriously.

Looking good, OKL!

The Upswing

New app looks great, loads fast, and I love the new logo! Can’t wait to use it to shop over the holiday weekend!

Love the new app

One Kings Lane has done a beautiful job on their new app!

Bad app

A Rosato

Can’t sign up don’t remember my password and there is no way to reset it , so it’s zero stars for me

Still super buggy

Bowlbasaurus

A lot of the functions still don’t work. For example, you can select a “category” when filtering.

Great app but some issues

Devbg

I love one Kong’s lane and have been waiting so long for this app and love having it but I have to admit there are a few functionality issues it’s really hard to favorite things because the screen moves and loads too large for the iPhone X screen. Really wish the developers would take a page from the Chairish app. The user experience is seamless and I can favorite things and then go to them and sort them by type instead of creating all these lists.

One Kings Lane NY?

Shopgirl@pro

Too slick, too store retail. Too BBB. It lacks the curated feeling of buyers and funky antique stores combined with stylists. And the pricing on everything is ridiculous. It’s not even a good idea store anymore.

Great selection poor functionality

NYC_CE

Love the product. App functionality is poor. Two biggest gripes: -Favorites page only loads the images for your four most recent. Beyond that it shows a list of item names with the blank elephant logo in place of a phot and the photos never load. Even if you click the item it often doesn’t load photo or details. -If you want to see a given piece, let’s say a sofa, instead of clicking the sofa and seeing which twelve fabrics it comes in and being able to click through those fabrics for images on a single product page, each of the twelve colors is listed as a completely separate item / product page. So for example you could get “100 results” for a search and really it’s just five items that come in 20 colors each but you have to scroll through 100 items.

Hasn’t Been the Same Since 2016

FlyGirlKate

App seems to be an extension or front of the website & not an independent piece: the app is cumbersome, loads slowly & crashes often.
