Nice website for showcasing high end style, but hardly anything spectacular. Their shipping and handling fees and overall pricing is beyond unreasonable. They have overinflated the value of most items. The amount of time you have to wait for your items to arrive is painful. Their growth will be affected by this. Unfortunately, a lot of their items can be found in HomeGoods, usually items that were returned or damaged. In a highly competitive consumer world it's impractical to purchase any item from this site.

Beautiful Things Poor Service

OKL has some lovely things but I've never received a piece of furniture that wasn't damaged (I've spent thousands & thousands of dollars on this site). An armoire came without a leg, a beautiful chair came cracked. A dresser came with a pull that constantly fell out (& couldn't be tightened). It's difficult to get these things sorted to say the least. Customer service is horrific & not helpful. Recently, I bought something at the warehouse sale, I emailed & called the contacts I was given. No one answers the phone & no one emailed back. I then emailed a direct email that I had for someone from the sale & didn't get a reply. However, when I bought my item, I overheard them telling another customer that they just needed to pick up their items by a certain date. So, after not getting any replies, I decided to go to the warehouse with some help. My assistant & my intern went to help me get the item I purchased & no one was there. No one answered offices & I called customer service. Because they are in SF & I am in NYC, they initially said they couldn't help me. The excuse from the customer service rep was that she's new, in SF & doesn't know anyone in NYC. When I asked her to connect me, she gave me the numbers I had as well as a wrong number... I asked for her manager but that person never got on the phone. Finally, someone from the number & emails I had called, called me to say they hadn't gotten any messages of mine (BS) & they would come over from the studio to help me. Way more trouble than it's worth. Lazy workers, lazy customers service. Seems to me like the company is run by some entitled people who don't know what giving customer service is all about.

Absolutely love this shopping site for all things unique and creative! I have filled a beach house with most of my finds! It's so exciting to get notifications and off I go shopping again!❤️

As with many of these apps I see similar products in the various sales just grouped in different ways. Love the mix of new and antique and their art selection is wonderful. Wish for more children's selection and lower prices and/or deeper sale discounts.
