Love the App Wish I could build meals

Jyoav

App works great. Lost over 30 lbs in the last nine months. I would love to be able to build meals I could save and reuse like I can in My Fitness Pal. I do eat fairly consistent groupings of food and it would save me time.

Horrible app, coaches are a joke.

I would not recommend this app if you’re trying to lose weight if you are really trying to lose weight just stick to a diet and eat less this is really a joke.

Log food

CherylMaGoo

I’m not liking the system of logging- doesn’t give calorie count Doesn’t let me repeat easily Several other things

App

app vs others

I like my fitness food tracking app it gives you a total and also scans food. Better food tracking app. Love the weight tracking and coaching on this app

Have to use the web version

a-o-k1

Why make an app if you have to go the web version to update your weight goals and add an activity tracker. Not very convenient.

Inaccurate activity tracker

LMB2021

The activity tracker doesn’t accurately report Garmin activity or steps. I contacted tech support and they were helpful, it’s just that it won’t keep track of specific activities and I’ll have to manually track my steps as they aren’t syncing properly. Everyone was very helpful. The program is great and the tools, philosophy and resources are very helpful.

Happy person

I am very happy with the app and also the program. I am seeing results and can’t wait for more.

Needs a historical view

Lots of missed opportunities to create a superior product. Weight and meal tracking are independent. There’s no easy way to review weight loss successes with what I was eating at that point in time. The app asked you to do little extra things to help with the weight loss goals but after accepting the challenge there’s no way to go back and show that you have done anything towards it. Chat is very limited, no search, etc. Also, I’m here because the app locked me out for an update. No warning that an update was coming, no way to make sure it aligned with user needs, just a complete lock out until the update was complete. Very irritating.

Tried others - this works!

I was able to earn the Omada program through earning points through the Smart Health program. I tried Noom last year and I was very overwhelmed and didn’t feel supported. The Omada program has one lesson a week, the coach is quick to respond and supportive. With Omada you are not counting calories, you are simply listing what you eat, then there are buttons small, med., large, not healthy, mostly healthy, good. When the coach posts a prompt in the group chat it is nice to see others response. You also get your own personalized scale that talks to the app. And tracks your weight. The only thing I wish they had was a place to track your exercise. Omada only tracks steps. I just message my coach my exercise did the day, what I did and the duration. It is laid back, not time consuming, coaches are supportive and if you have the privilege of doing the Smart program it is free.

it’s ok.

it’s stupid that i can’t change my goal in the app. it’s annoying that the font size for the coach chat is insane tiny. the scale is cool. wish i could connect it to myfitnesspal, which is actually what’s helping me the most. because omada food tracking is not helpful. i started losing weight at a good and healthy rate - once i got the myfitnesspal app. so...that kinda shows how omada doesn’t work.
