Removes and censors comments

So there is a temporary restraining order in my county on the vaccine/mask mandate. I dared to ask a question about it and my post was removed twice without any explanation or warning. They probably don’t want the word to get out that we are no longer forced. I will not be using this app anymore.

Nextdoor Supports Communism

If Nextdoor doesn’t like what you post they will cancel you. No free speech on Nextdoor so they are as anti-America as you can get. Americans will always fight for their freedom! Their God given freedom!

An app run by insane science deniers.

Crappy posting system that takes days for local news to get to you and correct predictions that states will soon open back up results in bans.

CENSORED

I posted a complete non biased, non offensive comment about the fax and after multiple “likes”, had my comment pulled down along with other like-minded people. Yeah….NO THANKS!!!!!!!!

Take a look into the credibility of this app

mach2don

If your thinking of downloading don’t go by the overall 5 stars as shown on the app page and read through the consistent one star reviews stating the same problems. While your at it do the math and list/count all the 5 stars against all the three and under, predominantly one star and determine if their score is right. Using simple investigative tools recognize what’s behind all the poor reviews and Jude for yourself, it’s all there. As many have said the idea behind this app is great and one that can be a big service to all ‘holders’ and this one is not. I hope and look forward to a similar app by honest, unbiased and credible devs to come one day that would be of benefit to us all. First off the app is set up with many little problems that cause complaints but would easily be tolerated if the app provided to the neighborhoods what it was designed to do. Unfortunately, it has much bigger and more severe problems in the way it is managed and run that most people, such as myself, can not put up with. I urge you not to believe what I say but instead read these consistent reviews by the many who have been victimized or observed it happening. Read what is stated in everyone of the majority one star reviews. Also look at all the 5 star reviews and note the quick single word or single sentence responses with no explanation or detail on what they gave it 5 for, strange. Did all who give 5 star reviewers do the same and fail to list what is great about the app? There’s no sense in me repeating all of the problems that are already listed, and I’ve personally experienced and/or observed most of them taking place, nor sufficient space to do it. What I will do is bring some things to your attention to allow you to make up your own mind as to the credibility of those that developed and manage this app. Aside from the false and lopsided star totals I urge to to read over those that are posted and take note of the consistency of complaints. One of the bigger problems the majority of reviewers list is the liberal and unfair stance this app takes which takes place with the moderators that the posts and comments go through before allowing it to post. The devs’ provide a nicely written set of guidelines that all their moderators use to base their decision. You’ll find the devs’ responses are all the same and request reviewers to use the link provided to report the lead or moderator that they believe blocked their post, comment or even terminated them without reason. This is all part of their wanting you to falsely believe moderators are humans chosen from your surrounding neighborhoods and report them. Anyone with average intelligence may clearly see that these reviews are from the many neighborhoods through out the country all stating the same problems about the app being biased, unfair, one sided liberal. This should raise suspicion that indicate these moderators are automated bots and all moderating is done through the software of the app and not impartial humans. What’s the chances of all moderators covering the users from any of the various neighborhoods throughout the country having the same biased liberal mind set? Accordingly there’s no formal unbiased moderation but only those of the devs’ whom created the software and placed the app online for use. I could go on but if the credibility of this app and the devs that created and mange it can not be easily made by the few points I detailed above then by all means download and enjoy it. I’m sorry but for me to use and trust an app like this or by a handful of irresponsible devs’ of questionable credibility is senseless. Don’t be swayed, used or allow one sided liberal ways forced on you nor trust them with your personal identity and information. You be the judge on the preponderance of evidence before you. Nothing further your honor I rest my case.

Problems with this App!

Great App.,

Please fix! App has been updated to only work with newer iOS 13. There are a lot of people out there who have older phones. They need this App too. Also, the Report Post and Lead sections are not working properly. They are slow, cumbersome, and sometimes do not work at all. Please fix these issues.

Disgusting UI

Will not let me verify my location because this app was designed by the CIA as a psychological torture instrument, infuriating to use and maddeningly broken in key areas

Too much advertisements

Imad10101

Used to be a good app but recently you can no longer decipher the advertisements from the real comments.

Awful Alerts & Notifications

BigBlueNation2

This app is great for keeping in touch with what’s happening in your neighborhood and local government alerts or issues. I only want to see alerts relating to crime and safety. Nothing else. The notification settings allow you to do that, theoretically, but it doesn’t work. I keep getting alerts for social media posts and posts popular in other neighborhoods. I don’t want to see pet videos! I want to see alerts relating to crime and safety. That’s it. If that’s not what Nextdoor is for, I will uninstall. Also, we have HOAs where I live and the app draws the HOA boundary incorrectly and includes a set of apartments not in the HOA.

Warning

nd is the worst

Next Door continued taking money from my bank after I canceled my business ad twice. No possible way to communicate with customer service. Bad bad neighbors.
