Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Nextdoor doesn't run GPS in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require it.

This app frustrates me…I’m reading an email on my phone and they suggest viewing in the app. When I do that, it does not bring up what I was reading and the hint is on.

I want to control my feeds! However, I see nothing but advertisements and see posts from 13w back or from 2 years ago. Ridiculous! Someone needs help finding their lost dog and no one sees their post. Zero. That’s right… I’m deleting this loser app.

This app takes over a minute to load every time I open it—sometimes much longer. Clearly there is a lot of data but it makes it difficult to even use the app. Also why do I have to verify my account by waiting for a code to come via snail mail. I shouldn’t get a message that says “verify your account? Are you sure you want to wait?” If I have to literally wait for snail mail.
I would like to join the correct neighborhood.

I took my dogs for a walk yesterday afternoon. Not realizing my phone fell out of my pocket on the road. I got home going to use it and realized it was gone. Had my wife call it to see if it was here. A lady answered it had found it and was waiting for someone to call about it. I meet with her to get it tried to give her money she said know thanks. Just want to say thanks to her and there are honest people in this world!
Confusing to use

I’ve only been on this site for a little over a week. I’ve had six or eight people write comments engage in a dialogue. Once the.conversation is over, I am unable to locate that same exchange the next day. Any thoughts or recommendations?

As of today, I deleted this app. Why? I’ve been labeled with a false term(racist), which is apparently ok according to the guidelines. I never mentioned anything to do with race; only criticized individuals who want to refrain from work, and live off all the freebies available. Facebook lost billions this weekend because they are losing followers. This forum filters what it disagrees with, and allows terms thrown at some of us according to their politics. Why is it ok for some of ND followers to call names, but not others? Byebye. I’ll do my animal rescues elsewhere. ND, you have lost me, and Im betting you will gradually start losing other members once they figure out that you are exactly like FB; free speech only exists for those that you politically agree with here. And, apparently, all lives do not matter, only a few of tgem.
